NE10 Player of the Week
Anthony Zambito, Southern Conn.

Tony Zambito hit safely in all four games at Le Moyne to extending his hitting streak to 15 games. Zambito has now reached base safely in 28-straight games dating back to the 2020 season. For the weekend series at Le Moyne, Zambito batted .538 (7-13) with five walks, four runs scored and five stolen bases to go with a .667 on-base percentage.
NE10 Pitcher of the Week
Jack Choate, Assumption
Sophomore | Pitcher | North Grafton, Mass.
Choate tossed a complete game three-hitter to earn a 2-1 victory over nationally ranked Southern New Hampshire on Saturday. The sophomore went 7.0 innings and gave up just one hit over the final four innings of action while finishing the contest with 12 strikeouts and just two walks to help his team lock up the No. 4 seed in the NE10 Northeast Division.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Steve Phillips, Southern Connecticut
Freshman | Pitcher | Watertown, Conn.
Needing a win in the final game of the season to move up a spot in the NE10 rankings, the Owls handed the ball to freshman Steve Phillips who hurled six innings of shutout baseball on one hit while striking out seven. Phillips retired eight-straight batters to start the game, and then the final six after giving up the lone hit of the contest. The last freshman to throw a shutout for the Owls was Nate Carney in 2017.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Matt Constanza, American International (Sr., 2B - Revere, Mass.)
Constanza hit .462/.588/.462 to help AIC split with Saint Rose and earn a home playoff game. He had a hit in all four contests, highlighted by a 2-for-3 effort with two runs in a 10-3 win on Saturdya.
Tim Zupkus, Bentley (So., OF - Middlebury, Conn.)
During a 2-2 weekend series with Stonehill, Zupkus was 6-for-16 (.375) with four RBI, three runs scored, two doubles and a sacrifice fly. In Saturday?s first game, he gave the Falcons a 3-2 walk-off win with a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh. He was 3-for-6 with an RBI and a run in Friday?s walk-off win and had two hits and a diving catch in Saturday?s second game. He drove in a run in three of the four games.
Ian Battipaglia, Franklin Pierce (So., Inf - Cheshire, Conn.)
Slashed .563/.632/.813 with nine nits in 16 at bats over the weekend against Saint Michael's and Saint Anselm. Added six runs, three walks with a home run and four RBI.
Harrison Treble, Pace (Sr., OF - Oyster Bay, N.Y.)
Treble closed out his regular season with another strong string of games last week. The Long Island native put together a 7-for-15 (.467) stretch with three RBIs and a pair of runs scored. He also tallied a walk and four stolen bases. Treble capped off a great senior year on a 10-game hitting stretch, going 16-for-38 (.421) during that time with nine runs scored and seven RBIs.
Francisco Infante, Saint Rose (Jr, IF - Bronx, N.Y.)
Has now reached base in 12 straight games. Went 4-for-8 with a pair of doubles, a home run, four RBI, and nine total bases in Saturday's split versus American International.
Jeffrey Praml, Southern N.H. (R-Jr., P - Bridgewater, N.J.)
Jeffrey Praml allowed two runs - one earned - on seven hits in a seven-inning, complete-game effort, while striking out eight and walking two, as the Penmen earned a 9-2 victory in game two against Assumption on Friday.
Graham Herrick, Stonehill (Fr, OF - Sheffield, Mass., 16)
The Skyhawks in their final regular season series against Bentley University, saw Herrick go 5-for-11 leading the team with 4 RBI in a 2-2 weekend. He tallied his sixth double of the season and he scored four runs, and walked twice for a .455 batting average.
