BRACKETS: MEN | WOMEN

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – The current 2013-14 season marks the first year of a divisional format in Northeast-10 Conference Men's and Women's Basketball. Both 10-team championship fields will be announced on Tuesday, February 25, following the completion of the regular-season schedule.

Despite the divisional breakdown, teams will qualify for the 2014 Northeast-10 Basketball Championships based on overall conference record.

For a complete breakdown of the men's and women's basketball championship formats, please see below.

In first-round play on Friday, Feb. 28, the No. 5 seed from the Northeast Division will travel to the Southwest Division No. 4 seed (Game 1), while the fifth seed in the Southwest travels to the fourth seed in the Northeast (Game 2).

In quarterfinal play on Sunday, March 2, the Game 1 winner will travel to the Southwest Division No. 1 seed (Game 3), with the Game 2 winner drawing the Northeast Division No. 1 seed (Game 4). Each division's No. 3 seed will be on the road at the opposite division's No. 2 seed for the Sunday quarterfinal date.

If the two teams advancing to the Northeast-10 Men's or Women's Basketball Championship contests share the same seed, home court will be determined by the winner of the two teams' regular-season matchup.

The 2014 Northeast-10 Men's Basketball Championship semifinals take place Wednesday, March 5 (at highest seeds), followed by the title game on Saturday, March 8.

The 2014 Northeast-10 Women's Basketball Championship semifinals will take place Thursday, March 6, with the title contest set for Sunday, March 9.

All semifinal and championship games will be broadcast live at northeast10.tv for both championships. Also be sure to follow the Northeast-10 on Twitter (@TheNortheast10) for all the latest championship news and information.
