Southern Connecticut’s Langston Earns Division II Bulletin Men’s Basketball All-America Honors

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Southern Connecticut State University senior Greg Langston has been named a 2014 Division II Bulletin Men's Basketball Second Team All-American, it was announced on Monday.

University of New Haven junior Eric Anderson and The College of Saint Rose senior Dominykas Milka were both named to the Bulletin's Honorable Mention Team, while So. Connecticut rookie Michael Mallory receieved All-Freshman Team honors.

Langston, the 2014 Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year, led the team in scoring with 19.8 points per game. This is the fourth All-American team selection for the Owls' lone senior, who capped his career as the second leading scorer in program history with 1,890 points.

Mallory, the 2014 Northeast-10 Rookie of the Year, finished third on the 2014 NCAA East Regional Champions in scoring average at 15.8 points.

Anderson, who was named the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, completed his junior season ranked second on the team with 15.8 points per game, shooting 50.4 percent from the field. He currently ranks seventh in the nation and second in the Northeast-10 with 11.7 rebounds per contest and is one of five student-athletes in all of Division II to record 20 or more double-doubles.

Milka, a two-time first-team Northeast-10 All-Conference choice, was third in the nation with a league-leading 12.4 rebounds per game to go along with a single-season school record (NCAA era) 20.7 scoring average. He also recorded 20 double-doubles this past season, the nation's third best mark.
