Almog & Glasgow Named All-Americans

Swimming All-American

GENEVA, Ohio - Bentley junior Hilla Almog, the Most Outstanding Diver at the 2024 NE10 Championship, and Southern Connecticut State junior Justice Glasgow both earned Honorable Mention All-America honors this weekend at the 2024 NCAA DII Swimming & Diving National Championship.

Almog qualified in both the one and three meter dives, posting her best finish off the three meter board.  Almog qualified for the finals in the three meter, placing 16th nationally to earn her All-America status.  It's the second season Almog has competed at the NCAA Championship and the first time she advanced past the qualifying meet.

Glasgow, a returning All-American from 2023, repeated in earning a national honor.  The NE10 champion in the 100m Fly, Glasgow finished second in the NCAA's B-Final this weekend, placing her 10th in DII.  Her 56.65 time was the seventh-best race swam between the two finals at the championship.

There were several other NE10 representatives that competed in Geneva, including divers Isabella Reyes (Pace), Jordan Swanson (College of Staten Island) and James Rorke (Pace) and Bentley's Emma Hapkiewicz in the 1650m Free and SCSU's Hailey Nyquist in the 100m Back.  Hapkiewicz finished 27th and Nyquist in 30th.
