Moreno collected a hit in six of the seven games he played in, including multiple knocks in four contests, and made seven errorless plays in the field. He went 2-for-3 with a home run, four RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Tuesday's game-one victory over Saint Rose and later in the week went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs, five RBI and two runs scored, as SNHU defeated Bentley, 16-4, in the opener of Saturday's doubleheader.

Civitella threw a complete game shutout against Assumption Saturday, April 15 in his only start of the week. He went seven innings, allowing no runs on four hits, walked two batters and recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts in Pace's 1-0 victory over the Greyhounds.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Josh Frometa, American International
Redshirt Freshman | Infield | Holyoke, Mass.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Joe Pellegrino, Adelphi (Jr., IF - Commack, N.Y.)
Pellegrino delivered two game-changing homers in a 10-7 win at West Chester last Wednesday (Apr. 12). It was Pellegrino's second two-homer game of the season. He broke the ice with a three-run first-inning homer and gave his team the lead for good in the sixth with a solo shot. Pellegrino batted .857 in a small sample size of two non-conference games, but also slugged 1.714 and reached base at an .889 clip.

Max Parker, Le Moyne (Jr., P - Manlius, N.Y.)
Parker tossed eight scoreless innings and registered six strikeouts, while scatting seven hits and not walking a batter, in a 13-0 win over Saint Rose on Saturday. He only allowed one runner to reach third base in the contest.

Wyatt Patchett, Le Moyne (So., OF - Geneva, N.Y.)
Patchett slashed .455/.600/1.273 with three home runs, six runs batted in and eight runs scored in Le Moyne's 4-0 weekend against Saint Rose. He opened the series with a grand slam in a 13-0 victory. In the first game on Sunday, an 8-4 win, he went 2-for-2 with a home run and two runs scored. He then went 2-for-4 with a home run, three runs scored and a stolen base in a 12-7 victory.

Anthony Labita, Pace (Jr., SS - North Massapequa, N.Y.)
Labita played in six games for the Setters this week, hitting two home runs and picking up seven RBI on the week. He had a grand slam against No. 9 East Stroudsburg on April 11, then had a solo home run at Bridgeport on April 12. He went 11-for-23 at the plate, batting .478 with a .520 on-base percentage. He had four extra base hits and drew two walks, scoring six runs and slugging .870.

Brady Doran, Saint Anselm (Sr., IF - Seneca, S.C.)
Doran slashed .421/.476/.632 in a 2-3 week for the Hawks against nationally-regarded Franklin Pierce. The senior totaled eight hits in 19 at-bats with one double, one home run, and four runs batted in while scoring three himself. Doran also swiped two bases. In the final game of the conference series, Doran was three-for-five with three RBIs and hit a solo home run just one game after reaching his 100th collegiate hit, which came in the game two win in Saturday's doubleheader.

Taylor French, Saint Anselm (Sr., P - Goffstown, N.H.)
In French's lone appearance of the week, which came in game two of Saturday's conference doubleheader against nationally-regarded Franklin Pierce, the senior fired a one-hitter in a complete game seven-inning 4-1 win. The senior fanned four batters and allowed one run. The last time Saint Anselm limited an opponent to just one hit was in the 2012 season.

Max Kolifrath, St. Michael's (So., 1B - Millbury, Mass.)
Kolifrath slashed .500/.944/.591 during a five-game week, finishing 9-for-18 with five runs, two doubles, two home runs, six RBI and four walks. He was 1-for-3 with two walks against Middlebury, which is receiving national votes in Division III, on Tuesday before turning in a big weekend versus NE10 foe AIC. On Saturday, Kolifrath went 2-for-5 in game one and walked once in three plate appearances during game two. On Sunday, he hit 2-for-3 with one run, three RBI, a double and a walk in the opener before finishing the weekend by batting 4-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, a double and two home runs in the nightcap, missing a third homer by feet when his double hit the middle of the fence.

Tommy Benincaso, Southern Conn. St. (Gr., RHP - Norwalk, Conn.)
In a 4-3 win against New Haven, Benincaso was brilliant as he gave up just one earned runs on six hits over seven innings while striking out six. Benincaso gave up a triple to the first batter of the day, who eventually scored, and then blanked New Haven over the next two innings. Two unearned runs crossed in the 4th inning before Benincaso settled in an retired 10 of the next 11 batters he faced.

Mike Ferrett, Southern Conn. St. (Jr., 3B/RHP - Hamden, Conn.)

Frankie Sanchez, Southern N.H. (So., P - Kendall Park, N.J.)
In two appearances, including a start, during an 8-0 week for the Penmen, Sanchez went 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA, giving up two earned runs on nine hits over nine innings, while striking out 10 and walking three. Sanchez started in a 6-4 win at Assumption on Monday and allowed one run and struck out six over five innings of work. He then came out of the 'pen in Saturday's 7-6, come-from-behind, walk-off win in game two, firing four innings of one-run ball, relinquishing just two hits, while punching out four and walking a batter.
