Yellow Jackets Earn Top Seed in Tiebreaker.
MANSFIELD, Mass. - American Internationl and Bentley both earned a share of the Northeast-10 Conference regular season championship, as the Volleyball Championship bracket is announced by the league office on Saturday night.
AIC and Bentley both won their last regular season conference matches, 3-0, to claim a share of the NE10 regular season title with an 11-1 NE10 record. Bentley earns the No. 2 seed in the tournament, as AIC beat the Falcons during the regular season, earning the top seed in the tiebreaker.
The Yellow Jackets, who are the defending NE10 champions, will host the first game of the tournament against No. 8 Franklin Pierce on Thursday at 6 p.m. No. 2 Bentley will host No. 7 Southern Connecticut, No. 3 Adelphi will host No. 6 New Haven, and No. 5 Saint Anselm will travel across town to No. 4 Southern New Hampshire - all starting at 7 p.m.
For complete seedings and matchups of the 2022 NE10 Volleyball Championship, please see the full schedule below for dates and times. The NE10 Championship final is scheduled for Sunday, November 13, at the highest remaining seed. All rounds of the Championship will be streamed live on NE10NOW.tv.
Postseason admission in all rounds of NE10 fall championships will be $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children. Current NE10 students, with valid ID, will be admitted free of charge.
