NE10 Player of the Week
Jayden Delaporta, Southern Connecticut
Senior | First Base | Mystic, Conn.
Delaporta had two stellar outings in a 2-0 week for the Owls in conference play. She slashed a line of .714/.714/1.571 going 5-for-7 at the plate. Her five hits included a home run, a triple, a double while knocking in four RBI and scoring four runs. Delaporta capped a tremendous weekend by hitting the game-winning walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Owls past Saint Rose, 6-5.
NE10 Pitcher of the Week
Gisselle Garcia, Pace
Freshman | Pitcher | Lemon Grove, Calif.
Garcia put together one of the most dominant pitching performances in recent memory on Sunday. The California native racked up 17 strikeouts in a complete-game win over AIC. She allowed just one run on two hits en route to her fifth straight victory. Garcia also posted five scoreless innings in a run-rule win at Dominican earlier in the week. Garcia currently owns a 1.59 ERA with 92 strikeouts in 79 innings pitched this season.
NE10 Rookie of the Week

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Jaden Farhat, Adelphi (So., SS - Carlstadt, N.J.)
Jaden had three hits during Adelphi's 1-1 week. She posted a .429 batting average and .571 slugging with one double and two RBIs.
Kodi Gora, American Int'l (So., 3B - San Diego, California)
Gora was excellent at the plate for AIC in two games against Pace. She hit a single, double, and home run in the series against the Setters, driving in both of AIC's runs on the day.
Summer Sheerin, Assumption (So., INF - Bridgewater, Mass.)
Summer Sheerin helped Assumption win the nightcap of a doubleheader against Adelphi by a 4-3 score in eight innings by hitting a walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth for what was also her first career home run as a collegian. Sheerin went 3-for-4 with two runs batted in and two runs scored in the game to help put an end to the Panthers' 11-game winning streak on their home field. With the Greyhounds trailing 3-0, Sheerin sparked the offensive rally by hitting a single and scoring the team's first run in the bottom of the fifth. She singled in the tying run in the sixth for her first RBI before ending the game with a solo homer in the bottom of the eighth.
Jordan Krause, Bentley (Fr., OF - San Pedro, Calif.)
In a doubleheader against Franklin Pierce, Krause was four-for-six with a walk and a .714 on base percentage. She was also two-for-three against St. Michael?s in a game that was suspended in the sixth inning and will be resumed later in the season.
Selena Aponte, New Haven (Jr, P - Lumberton, N.J.)
Aponte finished the week 3-0 in the circle, with three conference wins against Franklin Pierce, Saint Rose and Le Moyne. Overall, she pitched 21 innings and allowed four runs, three of which were earned while surrendering a total of 12 hits. All combined, the junior pitcher finished the week with a 1.00 ERA, while she started out the weekend with a two-hit shutout against the Golden Knights. She also added nine total strikeouts, six of which came in the shutout vs Saint Rose.
Mya Case, New Haven (Sr, INF - Syracuse, N.Y.)
Case finished a 4-2 week leading the Chargers at the plate with a .389 batting average in the leadoff spot in the lineup. Combined for the week, she scattered seven hits across 18 at bats while driving in eight runs. Among her seven hits were a trio of home runs, including opening up the week with a grand slam against Franklin Pierce which resulted in the Ravens first loss of the season 4-1. She would then wrap up the week going a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate across two games against Le Moyne, including a pair of home runs which were both of her hits in the opening game. She also added a pair of walks against the Dolphins, one in each game, and stole one base in the second game against Le Moyne.
Brianna Shea, Pace (Fr., INF - Oceanside, Calif.)
Shea once again led the Setters' offense during a 3-0 week. The freshman went 3-for-7 with four runs scored, four RBIs and two walks. She also launched her first career home run on Sunday in the Setters' 4-1 win at AIC.
Haile Hicks, Saint Anselm (So, P - Jefferson, N.H.)
Hicks pitched in three Hawks victories this past week, posting a 2-0 record with one save. Across 16 innings, Hicks allowed just two earned runs and struck out 19 batters. Against Southern New Hampshire on Sunday, Hicks pitched seven innings of two-hit ball with five strikeouts in a 6-0 shutout victory. She recorded a two-out save the game before against Saint Rose, striking out three batters in a relief appearance. She fanned a career-high 11 batters at Saint Rose to open that day in game one.
Jenna Devens, St. Michael's (Fr., DP - Parsippany, N.J.)
Freshman Jenna Devens (Parsippany, N.J.) batted .571 with a .643 slugging percentage and .600 on-base percentage in four games last week, batting 8-for-14 with a double, two RBI and a walk. On Tuesday at Castleton, she was 3-for-4 with an RBI in both games, adding a double in the opener. Devens posted 1-for-3 efforts in both contests at Stonehill on Sunday, also walking in the nightcap.
Chloe Griffin, Southern N.H. (Sr, P/OF - Scarborough, Maine)
Chloe Griffin did not allow a run in her two starts. She went four innings of scoreless ball in a 5-0 win at Le Moyne last Monday, then followed that up with a complete-game 1-0 shutout at Saint Anselm on Sunday.
Skylar Brandemarte, Stonehill (Fr, P - Poughkeepsie, N.Y.)
Brandemarte made two appearances for the Skyhawks this weekend and registered a win and save. In her one start, the freshman fanned four batters while allowing just one earned run. Meanwhile, in game two, Brandemarte went 1.1 innings and did not allow a hit or run, and struck out one which earned her the save. Between her start and save opportunity, Brandemarte finished with a ridiculously low 0.84 ERA and averaged 4.20 k/7.
Chloe Kelly, Stonehill (Fr, MINF/OF - East Bridgewater, Mass.)
Kelly had a strong weekend for the Skyhawks as the freshman hit .500 (4-8) and drove in three runs while posting an on-base percentage of .500. Her strongest game came against Saint Michael's in game one of their doubleheader where the freshman hit .750 (3-4) and collected three RBIs. Her three RBI day was the first multi-RBI game of her collegiate career. Along with her multiple RBIs, her three hit day was also a first for Kelly.
