NE10 Offensive Player of the Week
Jackson Ostrowsky, Southern Connecticut
Sophomore | Quarterback | Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
Sophomore quarterback Jackson Ostrowsky starred down a Division I defense, and two preseason All-Americans, in Central Connecticut and passed for 283 yards and three touchdowns in the Owls' 28-21 win at CCSU. Ostrowsky was 17-for-31 and tallied touchdown passes of 17, 19 and 51 yards.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Richard Williams, Jr., Southern Connecticut
Graduate | Outside Linebacker | Wethersfield, Conn.
Williams, Jr. made history with the second-longest interception return for a touchdown with a 90-yard pick-6 to give the Owls' a 21-14 lead at NCAA FCS Central Connecticut. Williams was also second in the Owls' lineup with nine tackles, including six solo take-downs.
NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week
Ramir Tann-Davis, Pace
Senior | Wide Receiver | Paterson, N.J.
Tann-Davis posted a sensational stat line to begin his senior season. He finished the night with six catches for a career-high 147 yards and a touchdown, while also registering a 94-yard kick-off return touchdown.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Chris Domercant, Stonehill
Freshman | Wide Receiver | Bellingham, Mass.
The true freshman caught three passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in his collegiate debut as the Skyhawks cruised to a 35-13 win over Bloomsburg on Saturday. His 16-yard touchdown catch opened the second half scoring as Stonehill started to break the game open after holding a 14-3 halftime lead, with its first two scores coming on the Skyhawks first two possessions.

Abel Lopes Jr., Bentley (Sr., WR - Scituate, Mass.)
In the Falcons' 42-17 win over West Chester, Lopes Jr. broke the Bentley record for longest punt return when he took it 84 yards to the end zone, making it 14-0 late in the opening quarter. That scratched the former standard of 77 yards from the record book, set in 1991 and matched in 1998. Lopes also caught an 11-yard TD pass.
Stephen Sturm, Bentley (Sr., QB - Collegeville, Pa.)
In the Falcons' impressive 41-17 win over West Chester, Sturm accounted for four TDs (two passing, two rushing) while amassing 212 all-purpose yards. He completed 11 of 18 passes for 140 yards and no interceptions, ran the ball ten times for 72 yards and was not sacked. His passing TDs covered 19 (pulled in by Noah Neville in the corner of the end zone for the game's first score) and 16 yards. On the ground, he ran the ball in from the 3 and the 17.
EJ Burgess, Franklin Pierce (Jr., RB - Pearland, Texas)
Scored both Franklin Pierce touchdowns in a 30-14 loss at New Haven on Saturday. Rushed for 66 yards and one touchdown (of 22 yards) on 17 carries (3.9 yards/carry). Added six catches for 132 yards (22 yards/catch), including a 43-yard touchdown snag. Was the team's leading rusher and leading receiver.
Connor Degenhardt, New Haven (Gr, QB - Westford, Mass.)
A graduate transfer in his first game as a Charger, Degenhardt put up a 300+ yard performance while playing a part in four touchdowns, throwing for three and rushing for one. The Westford, Mass. native opened up the Chargers scoring when he capped off the opening drive of the game with a 26-yard run into the end zone. He would go on to toss a trio of TD passes, all of which came from beyond 25 yards, including the longest of the day a 48-yard fling to fell grad transfer Dev Holmes. Overall, Degenhart connected on 20-of-33 passes while he net 32 yards on four rushing attempts.
Dustin Huseinovic, Pace (Sr., DB - Harrison, N.J.)
Huseinovic racked up a team-high 11 tackles in Pace's season-opener at East Stroudsburg. He also forced a fumble at the goal line to earn a touchback in the third quarter. Huseinovic served as Pace's punter as well, recording four punts inside the ESU 20-yard line.
Damien Williams, Saint Anselm (Sr., LB - Oxon Hill, Md.)
Williams had a solid all-around week for the Saint Anselm football team, posting eight total tackles and two sacks for a combined loss of 16 yards. He also broke up one pass in a loss to Division I Merrimack.
Nate Bresson, Stonehill (5th Year, DE - Torrington, Conn.)
Led a Skyhawks defense that held Bloomsburg without a touchdown until late in the fourth quarter and a defensive line that was in the backfield all afternoon in a 35-13 victory on Saturday. The lineman finished with six tackles (five solo), including 2.0 sacks for a loss of five yards in the contest.
Justin Felder, Stonehill (Sr, RB - Hollis, N.Y.)
Spearheaded a Stonehill offense that piled up 289 rushing yards and featured two 100-yard rushers in Saturday's season-opening 35-13 victory over Bloomsburg in Easton. The All-American running back finished with 204 all-purpose yards as he rushed the ball 31 times for 177 yards and three touchdowns, while adding another 27 yards on two receptions. He opened the scoring on the day as the Skyhawks reached the end zone on their first two possessions, before breaking the game open in the third quarter. His opening touchdown was a nine yard scamper, before adding back to back scores over the third and fourth quarter from five and 20 yards, respectively. It marks fifth-straight 100-yard rushing game dating back to the 2019 season and the eight in his 19 career appearances.
