Bentley with a League-High Three Honorees.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had 10 football players, including a league-high three from Bentley, named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Super Region One Team last week. Six different NE10 institutions were represented.
The NE10 more than tripled its representation on All-Region honors in 2021 as compared to 2019. Two years ago, the Conference had just three players recognized by D2CCA.
Assumption and Stonehill joined Bentley as the three institutions to secure multiple All-Region selections, while Franklin Pierce, New Haven and Pace each had one. Four institutions had at least one player earn a First Team nod.
Bentley led all NE10 programs with two First Team picks, which include the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year Cole McCubrey and NE10 Defensive Lineman of the Year Cedie Dashiell II. New Haven's Mike Zecchin, the NE10 Offensive Lineman of the Year, and Franklin Pierce's EJ Burgess, the NE10 Offensive Player of the Year, joined by the Falcons' defensive duo on the First Team.
Assumption's Khaleed Exum-Strong, the NE10 Most Valuable Player for the 2021 season, was named to the Second Team, along with his teammate Isaiah Huff, who earned a spot among Second Team specialists. Bentley's Tim Leonard, Pace's Dustin Huseinovic and Stonehill's Justin Felder were also Second Team selections.

The D2CCA encourages and promotes DII athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact DII intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA DII member colleges and universities.
