NE10 Offensive Player of the Week

Connor, Degenhardt, New Haven
Graduate Student | Quarterback | Westford, Mass.

Degenhardt completed 14-of-21 passes for 355 yards, an average of 25+ yards per completion, in a 38-9 win over Southern Connecticut. Among those 14 passes were four touchdowns, including 70-yard and 93-yard scores to Javon Turner and Dev Holmes, respectively. He also completed a 30-yard pass to Holmes for a score, while his fourth TD was a 5-yard completion to TE Kevin Foelsch.


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Cole McCubrey, Bentley
Graduate Student | Linebacker | Boylston, Mass.

McCubrey, in Bentley's 35-27 win at American International, had a team-best eight tackles, a 45-yard pick-six that restored the Falcons' lead to 14 with 5:17 remaining, and a forced fumble. The UMass transfer is tied for third in the conference in tackles with teammate Salvatore Lupoli Jr.


NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week

Anthony Brown, Saint Anselm
Junior | Wide Receiver | Belton, Texas

Brown had an all-around solid game for the Hawks in his team's 42-7 win over Franklin Pierce, scoring a 68-yard receiving touchdown and adding a 62-yard punt return for a touchdown (second-longest in team history) within the third quarter's final six minutes. He finished with five catches for 181 yards and two punt returns for 63 yards (fifth-most in single-game history).


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Drew Willoughby, Saint Anselm
Sophomore (Freshman Eligibility) | Quarterback | Austin, Texas

In his team's convincing victory over Franklin Pierce, Willoughby threw for 420 yards and three touchdowns while also picking up a rushing touchdown of his own in the win. His 420 yards are the ninth-most in a single game in team history and he finished the day with 29 completions on 46 pass attempts (63.0%). 


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Khaleed Exum-Strong, Assumption (Sr., RB - Norwichtown, Conn.)
Exum-Strong rushed 24 times on Saturday for a total of 173 yards for the Greyhounds. His longest carry was 35 yards and he scored one touchdown in the 27-26 setback at Stonehill. Exum-Strong finished the game averaging 7.2 yards per rush.

Jayson Demild, American Int'l (R-Jr., QB - Sayreville, N.J.)
Demild had another great week for the Yellow Jackets. He threw 17-for-25 for 275 yards and three touchdowns, while running for 33 yards on 11 rushes, in a 35-27 loss to undefeated Bentley. 

Nathaniel Larkins, Bentley (Jr., RB - Huntington, N.Y.)
Larkins turned in another outstanding performance as 4-0 Bentley extended its winning streak to nine with a 35-27 win at previously unbeaten American International. He ran for 131 yards and two TD on 24 carries. His touchdowns covered nine and five yards. It was the third 100-yard performance of the season for Larkins, who topped 500 rushing yards for the season.

Ryan Hodgins, New Haven (Sr, LB - Flanders, N.J.)
Hodgins led the team with 10 tackles, including three for loss, while also credited with a pass breakup in a 38-9 win over Southern Connecticut. Of his 10 total tackles were eight solo tackles and a pair of tackle assists, while his three TFL's accounted for six yards lost.

Devin Williams, Saint Anselm (Jr, LB - Cliffwood, N.J.)
Against the Ravens on Saturday, Williams ranked third on the team with nine tackles (3-6=9) and produced one sack for five yards in a 42-7 win over Franklin Pierce. He had a hand in one-and-a-half tackles for a combined six-yard loss and also reeled in his first career interception with a 20-yard return on the play.

Szymon Gawlick, Southern Conn. St. (Jr., Kicker - Newton, Mass.)
Gawlick converted on all three of his field goal attempts at New Haven, accounting for all nine of the Owls' points in the game. Gawlick converted on field goals from 34, 43 and 24 yards, with his 43-yard field goal standing as the longest at Southern Connecticut since 2014. Gawlick is now 5-of-5 on the year.

Anton Stoneking, Stonehill (5th Year, QB - Clayton, N.C.)
Stoneking passed for three touchdowns as he engineered a pair of comebacks from two scores down, including a two-minute drill that delivered the winning touchdown with 36-seconds to play for a 27-26 triumph over Assumption on Saturday night. He completed 19-of-34 passes for 223 yards and three touchdowns, while connecting on touchdown passes of 22, 19 and 20 yards, the latter of which put the Skyhawks in front for the first time all night with 36-seconds left. He posted 74 total yards on the game-winning drive in which the Skyhawks took possession with 2:09 to play, completing all four passes for 60 yards, while rushing the ball twice for another 14 yards.
