NE10 Offensive Player of the Week
Stephen Sturm, Bentley
Senior | Quarterback | Collegeville, Pa.
In a 48-23 win over Assumption, Sturm completed 12 of 13 passes for 239 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. In addition, he picked up 55 yards on six carries, including a 36-yard jaunt for a TD. His touchdown passes covered 28, 30, 20 and 36 yards. Sturm surpassed 7,000 career passing yards and his pass efficiency rating was an incredible 348.28.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Dustin Huseinovic, Pace
Senior| Defensive Back | Harrison, N.J.
Huseinovic was sensational in the Setters' season-finale at AIC last Saturday. The New Jersey native racked up a career-high 14 tackles, in addition to forcing a pair of fumbles. He also recovered a fumble in the first quarter. Huseinovic finishes the year with 105 tackles, and 10.5 tackles-per-game, both marks good for second in the NE10 this season.
NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week
Briant DeFelice, New Haven
Senior | Kicker | Massapequa, N.Y.
DeFelice finished the final regular season game with 10 points on a pair of field goals and four PAT's. His two FG's came from 20 and 23 yards, while his perfect 4-of-4 in PAT's led the transfer kicker to finish the conference season a perfect 32-for-32 in point after attempts.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Chris Domercant, Stonehill
Freshman | Wide Receiver | Bellingham, Mass.
Finished his freshman season with four receptions for 91 yards and two touchdowns in the Skyhawks 42-6 victory at Southern Connecticut State on Saturday. Helped open the scoring on the day with a three-yard touchdown catch 2:11 into the game on Stonehill's second play of the day. He also collected a 75-yard touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage in the second half to give the SKyhawks a 35-0 lead.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Samad Davila, American Int'l (Sr., RB - New Brunswick, N.J.)
Davila had a monster day as he ended his career in a Yellow Jackets' uniform. He ran for 182 yards and had two touchdowns.
Khaleed Exum-Strong, Assumption (Sr., RB - Norwichtown, Conn.)
Exum-Strong had 18 rush attempts vs Bentley for 116 yards and a touchdown to lead the Hounds offense.
Charlie Ogletree, Bentley (Jr., P - Needham, Mass.)
Ogletree punted four times in the Falcons' 48-23 win over Assumption and averaged 46.5 yards, with a long of 50 yards. His other punts covered 40, 49 (to the Hounds? 4) and 47 yards. He took over the conference lead with a season average of 40.9.
Edgar Semedo, Bentley (Sr., DB - New Bedford, Mass.)
Semedo recorded a career-best ten tackles, including a half tackle for loss, as Bentley closed out the regular season with a 48-23 win over Assumption. The Greyhounds were limited to 24 yards in the third quarter.
Ty Drinan, Franklin Pierce (Fr., K/P - Lynn, Mass.)
Went 2-for-2 on field goals, both from 38 yards, and added a pair of extra points, for an eight-point day in Saturday's 34-20 loss to New Haven.
Tyquon Stokes, Franklin Pierce (Fr., LB - Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Led all players with 11 tackles in Saturday's 34-20 loss at home against New Haven.
Jake Conlan, New Haven (Jr., RB - West Haven, Conn.)
Conlan was one of two Chargers to rack up 100+ yards in the regular season road win at Franklin Pierce. He finished the day with 107 yards on 17 carries for an average of 6.3 yards per attempt. He also ran two of those balls in for touchdowns, while his longest gain of the day went for 26 yards.
Nate Bresson, Stonehill (5th Year, DE - Torrington, Conn.)
Was a dominant factor on the Skyhawks defensive line to key a defensive effort that held Southern Connecticut State to 111 total yards, including 42 rushing and 69 passing, in Saturday's 42-6 road victory to close out the season. Finished with five tackles (three solo), including 2.5 tackles for a loss of 11 yards, with 2.0 sacks for a loss of ten, a pass breakup and blocked punt that set up a quick Stonehill score.
Anton Stoneking, Stonehill (5th Year, QB - Clayton, N.C.)
Threw a career-high four touchdown passes to lead the Skyhawks to a 42-6 win over Southern Connecticut State on Saturday. He completed 14-of-18 passes for 202 yards and the four touchdown tosses give him a career-high 16 for the season to rank ninth on the program?s all-time single-season list, while his 31 career touchdown passes rank sixth all-time. Stoneking completed touchdown passes of 3, 45, 10 an 75 yards in the win, the first two passes led Stonehill to a 21-0 lead nine minutes into the game. His 75-yard touchdown came on the opening play of the second half to stretch the Stonehill lead to 35-0.
