NE10 Offensive Player of the Week
Jacob Cady, Assumption
Junior | Quarterback | Saint Johnsbury, Vt.
Cady went 4-7 passing for 83 yards and had 12 rushes for 124 yards and four touchdowns to help give the Hounds a 44-35 victory over Saint Anselm.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Khalim Cisse, New Haven
Graduate Student | Linebacker | Willingboro, N.J.
Cisse led an offense that held the Bentley offense to just 215 yards of total offense, including under 100 yards rushing. For the game, he collected seven total tackles, including 2.5 for loss, all of which were sacks that he broke through the line to push Bentley back nine yards in total. Of his seven tackles, four were solo and three assisted.
NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week
Isaiah Huff, Assumption
Redshirt-Junior | Defensive Back | Windsor, Conn.
Huff charged Assumption's offensive attack on Saturday with five kick returns for 171 yards averaging 34.2 yards per return while his longest return on the day was 60 yards. He also had four tackles over the weekend (2 solo, 2 assists) while breaking up three passes and having an interception, which he returned for 48 yards.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Sean Kehley, Pace
Sophomore (Freshman Eligibility) | Quarterback | Manalapan, N.J.
Kehley led Pace to an 18-16 win over Southern Connecticut on Saturday with pinpoint precision, throwing 11-of-13 for 125 yards and a touchdown to lead the Setters' offense. He also added 17 yards on the ground. His completion percentage of 84.6 was the best among NE10 quarterbacks this week.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Salvatore Lupoli Jr., Bentley (Jr., LB - Chelmsford, Mass.)
In the battle for the conference championship, Lupoli had a career-high 15 tackles, including eight solo, and a pass break-up in the Falcons' 31-14 loss to New Haven.
Connor Degenhardt, New Haven (Gr, QB - Westford, Mass.)
Degenhardt led his offense to a Northeast-10 Conference Championship with a convincing 31-14 win over Bentley, with the graduate transfer QB a part of all four of the Chargers TD's. For the day, Degenhardt finished with 108 yards, completing 13-of-20 with one of those passes going 20 yards to the end zone with Dev Holmes on the other end of the TD. Additionally, Degenhardt capped off three drives calling his own number, for TD's of 2, 9 and 1 yards. On the ground, he finished with 19 net yards.
Neimar Santouse, Pace (Jr., DB - Clifton, N.J.)
Santouse came up with the biggest play of the game during Pace's 18-16 win over SCSU last week. With the Setters trailing 9-7 late in the third quarter, Santouse picked up an Owls' fumble at the one-yard line and returned it 99 yards for a touchdown. He also finished the game with four tackles as the Setters' defense allowed their lowest point total of the season.
Anthony Brown, Saint Anselm (Jr, WR - Belton, Texas)
Brown averaged 11.5 yards per catch this past week at Assumption, racking up two touchdowns and 149 yards. He finished the day with a career-high 241 all-purpose yards, adding 97 yards on kick returns in the game that included a game-high kick return of 40 yards that set up his team's first touchdown of the day.
Ryan Sullivan, Saint Anselm (Sr, DB - Stoughton, Mass.)
Sullivan led Saint Anselm on defense with nine tackles, a tackle for a loss of one yard, an interception and a forced fumble that prevented a sure Assumption touchdown on the goal line.
Tylon Papallo, Southern Connecticut (Jr., WR - Meriden, Conn.)
Papallo led the Owls' offense with 175 total yards on offensive. The first-year Owl's day was highlighted by a 47-yard touchdown run out of the Wildcat while also adding a 33-yard touchdown catch. He totaled 42 yards on three carries and 133 yards on five catches. Papallo has now compiled 412 yards on offense with six touchdowns in his last three games.Papallo also became the first player in program history with a rushing touchdown and a touchdown catch in back-to-back games.
Justin Felder, Stonehill (Sr, RB - Hollis, N.Y.)
Felder totaled 233 all-purpose yards and rushed for three touchdowns to lead Stonehill to a 34-7 Senior Day win over Franklin Pierce on Saturday. He carried the ball 21 times for 193 yards on the ground, while adding a team-high five receptions for 40 yards on the day. His three touchdowns give him 36 total touchdowns for his career, breaking Stonehill's school record of 34 by Eddie Vachon, '11. Felder's 77-yard touchdown run was on the Skyhawks second play from scrimmage in the opening quarter as the Skyhawks staked out a 24-0 lead by halftime, with Felder adding an eight yard score in the second quarter - his program record 35th career score. He capped the day with a 22-yard touchdown scamper in the third quarter that answered Franklin Pierce's lone touchdown of the day.
Perry Shelbred, Stonehill (Jr, K - Ridgefield, Conn.)
Shelbred scored 10 points with a pair of field goals and four extra points in Saturday's 34-7 victory over Franklin Pierce. His 38-yard field goal in the first quarter gave the Skyhawks a 10-7 lead. Added a 36-yard field goal with 34-seconds remaining in the third quarter, capped the scoring on the day.
