NE10 Player of the Week
Kaylee Deleva, Adelphi
Senior | Forward | Sound Beach, N.Y.
Kaylee scored two goals and had one assist during Adelphi's 4-0 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday. The Senior went on to score one more goal on the week at #2 East Stroudsburg on Thursday, as the Panther fell 3-2 in a tough battle. She finished the week with seven points and three goals on seven total shots with one game-winner against STAC.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Janelle Ward, Southern Conn. St.
Junior | Goalkeeper | Kitchener, Ontario
Ward was a key piece in the Owls 3-2 conference win over Franklin Pierce on Sept. 12. She played all 60 minutes, allowing just two goals and made 14 stops en route to the Owls' victory in their only game of the week.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Andrea Caradonna, Stonehill
Junior | Defense | Lynnfield, Mass
Keyed the No. 10-ranked Skyhawks defensive effort in a pair of games last week that yielded 11.5 shots and 6.5 penalty corners per game for the week. Allowed just six shots on goal per game over the two contests. Stonehill's defense allowed just three shots, including two on target, in Saturday's 1-0 victory at St. Thomas Aquinas to open the NE10 season.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Raegan Hickey, Stonehill
Sophomore | Forward | Greenfield, Mass.
Had a role in all three goals for the No. 10-ranked Skyhawks in a pair of games last week. Registered a goal and assist in Monday's setback at home to No. 1-ranked West Chester. Assisted on the lone goal in Saturday's NE10 opening win at Saint Thomas Aquinas.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Primack knocked in two goals in Assumption's 5-1 win over Bentley on Wednesday. She finished the game with three shots, two on goals for a .667 shot percentage. With the score close a 2-1 at the start of the final quarter, Primack put in her two goals, back-to-back in the fourth period to extend Assumption's lead to 4-1.
Kylie Gargiulo, Assumption (Sr., GK - Madison, Conn.)
Gargiulo made four stops in Assumption's 5-1 victory over Bentley on Wednesday. She improves to 2-1 on the season and ranks third in the conference in save percentage at .889.
Feline van Doorn, Franklin Pierce (Sr., F - Barendrecht, Netherlands)
Scored twice in an 0-2 week for the Ravens. Netted both of the team's goals in Sunday's 3-2 loss at SCSU, where she recorded four shots.
Ally Saigh, Molloy (So, GK - Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.)
In two games this week, Saigh recorded 36 total saves, including 27 against No. 2 East Stroudsburg two shy of a school record. She also added nine saves in a 2-0 defeat to AIC.
Alexis Rider, New Haven (Sr., F - Delran, N.J.)
In the Chargers only game last week, Rider scored a pair of goals to help New Haven open Northeast-10 play with a 3-0 shutout of Saint Michael's. She scored both of her goals off of penalty corners, the first of which using strung together passes from Julia Battino and Taylor Geaglone before weaving her shot past one defender and inside the left upright of the cage. Her second shot came off of a rebound that was collected by Abby Nixon who quickly shoveled a pass to Rider who fired from 14-yards out to provide the final goal in the three-goal afternoon.
Grace Henderson, Pace (Sr., GK - Kingswood, South Australia)
Henderson allowed just two goals in a pair of complete-game efforts on the road last week. She started the stretch with six saves at Bloomsburg before tallying eight stops against third-ranked Saint Anselm. Henderson has now yielded just two tallies this season in more than 240 minutes of game action.
Jenna Puleo, St. Michael's (Sr., F/M - Essex Junction, Vt.)
registered two goals and three assists during a 1-1 week, with each of her points coming in a 5-2 upset of No. 9 Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday. She was held to just a single shot in a loss to New Haven.
Abigail Campbell, Stonehill (Sr, G - Norfolk, Mass.)
Posted a 1.50 goals against average and averaged 4.5 saves per game over two games for the No. 10 Skyhawks, posting a shutout in Saturday's 1-0 win at St. Thomas Aquinas in their NE10 opener. Campbell registered seven shots in Monday's matchup with No. 1-ranked West Chester. She made two saves in Saturday's shutout win at STAC.
