NE10 Player of the Week

Ronnie Silva, Adelphi
Senior | Guard | Nashua, N.H.

Silva averaged a remarkable 28.7 points per game in three wins for the Panthers this past week. He shot 49.2 percent from the field and 43.9 percent from three. Silva dropped a career-best 34 points on Bloomfield in the team's first game after the New Year, before following that up with seven threes in a 31-point game in an 83-71 win over SCSU (Jan. 5). He then made a game-high five threes in a 21-point effort in a 73-66 victory at AIC (Jan. 9).

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Jackson Benigni, Stonehill
Sophomore (Freshman Eligibility) | Guard | East Hampton, Conn.

Benigni helped the Skyhawks return from a nearly three-week layoff with a key 73-64 road win at Le Moyne on Saturday with 12 points, aided by 8-of-8 shooting at the free-throw line. He also contributed five rebounds and four assists for the day, as he scored in double-figures for the eighth time in 11 games this season.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Mason Webb, Bentley (Sr., G - Oklahoma City, Okla.)
Webb, in a 76-56 win over St. Michael's, finished with 23 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal and a plus-21. The senior made 9 of 14 shots overall and sank four of five three-pointers.

Derrick Rowland, New Haven (Gr., G - Cohoes, N.Y.)
Rowland averaged 20.5 points across two games, including a 31-point outing against Saint Michael's, finishing one point shy of his career high. He shot .472 for the week, including 12-of-21 against Saint Michael's. Also closed out the week with six rebounds, three assists and seven steals - four against American International and three against the Purple Knights.

Bryan Powell, Pace (Jr., F - Middletown, N.Y.)
Powell was incredibly efficient while posting averages of 20.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. The junior was especially impressive on Saturday at Saint Anselm when he poured in a game-high 26 points. Powell also hauled in 11 rebounds against the Hawks to secure his seventh career double-double.

Chris Paul, Saint Anselm (Sr, F - Highland Mills, N.Y.)
Paul tied for the team lead in point scoring against Pace on Saturday, scoring 24 points while pulling down a team-best eight rebounds. He also drew a team-leading eight fouls in the one-point victory and dished out eight assists to push the Hawks past the Setters on a late three-point basket by teammate Miles Tention.

Patrick Gardner, Saint Michael's (Sr., F - Merrick, N.Y.)
Gardner scored 33 points in 32 minutes with 12 rebounds, four blocks, one assist and a steal during a 65-61 loss at regionally-ranked New Haven on Saturday. Gardner shot 12-for-27 overall, including 5-of-14 from three-point range, and 4-of-5 on free throws while snaring two offensive boards.

Zack Penn, So. Connecticut (Jr., C - New Hartford, Conn.)
Penn recorded a team-high 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting while also grabbing nine rebounds on the road against Adelphi in Southern's only game of the week. His point total and field goals made were also new career-highs for a single game.

Owen Chose, Stonehill (5th Year, G - Eden Prairie, Minn.)
Chose poured in a career-high 29 points as the Skyhawks returned from a nearly three week layoff to post a key 73-64 road win at Le Moyne on Saturday. He added a season-high six rebounds and made 11-of-22 shots from the floor, including 5-for-14 from three-point distance, and made both free-throw attempts to lead three from Stonehill in double-figures. It marks his third-straight game in double-figures and his first 20-point game of the season (12th career) for his 54th career double-digit game.
