NE10 Player of the Week

Ronnie Silva, Adelphi
Senior | Guard | Nashua, N.H.

In a 1-1 week for Adelphi, Silva continued his scoring streak, averaging 38.0 points per game with 16 buckets from beyond the arc. This week notched his fourth and fifth consecutive games scoring 20 or more points. In a narrow victory against Stonehill, Silva set a new career-high with 42 points, with the help of eight three-pointers and a 12-for-13 performance from the free throw line. Against the Hawks, he put up a team-leading 34 points with the help of 13 made field goals while pouring in another eight threes.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Shane O'Dell, Saint Rose
Freshman | Forward | Schenectady, N.Y.

O'Dell recorded career-highs of 36 points and 14 rebounds during Thursday's 86-75 win at Saint Michael's. O'Dell pulled off the feat by scoring all of his points inside the arc. He finished 15-for-25 from the floor, went 6-for-7 from the free throw line, hauled in five boards from the offensive glass, and handed out a team-high four assists. 


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Mason Webb, Bentley (Sr., G - Oklahoma City, Okla.)
In two come-from-behind conference wins for the No. 25 Falcons, Webb averaged 17 points, three rebounds, two assists and 1.5 steals while shooting .688 overall (11/18), .600 from three (6/10) and 1.000 from the line (6/6). His three-pointer with 43 seconds left to play gave Bentley an 80-78 win over New Haven and he scored 23 points, with four rebounds and two steals, in an 85-73 victory over Pace. 

Tavin Pierre Philipe, New Haven (So., G - Brooklyn, NY)
Philippe averaged 18 points, including a team-high and career-high of 22 points in the home win over Stonehill. The sophomore guard shot 60% overall for the week (12-of-20), including five three-pointers on nine attempts. Philippe opened up the week with a 14-point performance coming off the bench at Bentley. He finished that game shooting 5-of-10 from the field, including 2-of-4 from long range. He followed that up with his first start for the Chargers, racking up 22 points against the Skyhawks as he missed just three of his 10 field goal attempts. Three of those came from outside the arc, while he was also 5-of-7 at the line.

Bryan Powell, Pace (Jr., F - Middletown, N.Y.)
Powell led the way for the Setters during a 1-1 stretch last week. The junior forward posted averages of 16.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per contest. Powell is Pace's leading scorer (15.5 ppg) this season, while ranking fourth in the NE10 in field-goal percentage (59.2%).

Chris Paul, Saint Anselm (Sr, F - Highland Mills, N.Y.)
Averaged 15 points for Saint Anselm, shooting north of 52% from the floor on the week and helping the Hawks to a pair of NE10 victories. Had 11 points with 14 rebounds against American International in the first game before logging 19 points at Adelphi on Saturday. 

Aaron Gray, Southern N.H. (Fr., G/F - Providence, R.I.)
Gray had two solid games as SNHU returned to action at Stonehill and Le Moyne. He pumped in 19 - 15 in the first-half - at Stonehill. He added six rebounds against the Skyhawks. Saturday, Gray went one point better with 20 and seven rebounds against Le Moyne. 

Owen Chose, Stonehill (5th Year, G - Eden Prairie, Minn.)
Averaged 23 points per game on 56.8-percent shooting (25-for-44), including 10-of-16 (62.5%) from three-point distance over three games for the Skyhawks last week. Made 9-of-12 free-throws (75%) and contributed 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game for the week as well. Opened the week with 27 points on 10-of-17 shooting, including 4-for-5 from three, with four rebounds against Adelphi on Tuesday. Tallied 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting (2-for-2 threes), four rebounds and two assists in Thursday's 88-82 win over Southern N.H. Finished with 23 points on 9-of-17 shooting (4-for-8 threes), two boards and two assists at New Haven on Saturday.
