NE10 Player of the Week

Matt Becht, Southern N.H.
Sophomore | Guard | Vienna, Va.

In SNHU's only game of the week, Becht went off for a career-high 35 points in a 101-81 win at Pace on Saturday. Becht went 8-for-14 shooting, including 7-12 on three-pointers, and 12-12 from the line. He also pulled down 10 rebounds.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Shane O'Dell, Saint Rose
Freshman | Forward | Schenectady, N.Y.

O'Dell averaged 20.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, 1.7 steals, and 4.0 assists throughout a 3-0 week for the Golden Knights. He recorded a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds in a win over reigning NE10 champion Saint Anselm and has now eclipsed the 20-point mark on eight occasions this season.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Ronnie Silva, Adelphi (Sr., G - Nashua, NH)
Silva scored a team-leading 18 points in the Panthers lone win of the week- shooting 6-for-12 from the field with three three-pointers. He additionally added six rebounds, five assists and three steals to his stat line.

Omar El Sheikh, Assumption (Sr., F - Giza, Egypt)
El Sheikh had 48 points on the week for the Hounds averaging 16 points per game in a 1-2 week. El Sheikh had a total of 6 blocks and 45 rebounds, averaging 15 per game and had a impressive 21 boards (10 offensive, 11 defensive) in Saturday's loss at Le Moyne. On the week El Sheikh had three double doubles.  

Zach Laput, Bentley (So., G - Beacon Falls, Conn.)
In a come-from-behind 66-56 win over Le Moyne, Laput led the 19th-ranked and first-place Falcons with 15 points and 12 rebounds, his second double-double of the season. That included 11 points, 8 rebounds and a +18 in a second half Bentley won 40-28. He made seven of 14 shots overall, including his only three-pointer.

Isaiah Moore, Franklin Pierce (Jr., G - Temple Hills, Md.)
Moore averaged 24 points, five rebounds, eight assists and two steals per game in a 2-0 week for the Ravens. Went for 24 points, three rebounds, five assists and a pair of steals in an 89-85 win over Pace on Tuesday night. Again poured in 24 points, this time with seven rebounds, 11 assists and two steals in a 96-68 rout of AIC on Thursday night. 

Bryan Powell, Pace (Jr., F - Middletown, N.Y.)
Powell once again served as Pace's top scorer and rebounder across three games last week. The junior finished the stretch with averages of 18.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks. He began the week with a career-high 29 points against Franklin Pierce. 

Chris Paul, Saint Anselm (Sr, F - Highland Mills, N.Y.)
Paul had a well-rounded week for Saint Anselm, averaging 14 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Hawks. Against Saint Rose, Paul scored 18 points with six rebounds, four assists and three steals before posting 11 rebounds, 10 points and eight assists versus Saint Michael's in a 76-67 victory for Saint Anselm. Paul ranks fifth in the NE10 with 19.3 points per game.

Patrick Gardner, St. Michael's (Sr., F - Merrick, N.Y.)
Gardner averaged 18.0 points on 48.3% shooting with 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 offensive rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 blocks against a pair of regionally-ranked teams last week. In an 87-69 loss to Adelphi on Tuesday, he notched 13 points, 12 rebounds, three offensive boards, three assists and one block before totaling 23 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks, two offensive caroms, two assists and a steal in 25 minutes versus Saint Anselm in a 76-67 setback on Thursday.

C.J. Seaforth, Southern Conn. St. (Sr, G - Hamden, Conn.)
Seaforth averaged 16.5 points per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range in two road games for the Owls. He scored 10 points against Assumption before exploding for a season-high 23 points on 8-of-11 from the field and 4-of-7 shooting from three against Pace.

Owen Chose, Stonehill (5th Year, G - Eden Prairie, Minn.)
Chose averaged 23.5 points on 48.3-percent shooting (14-for-29), including 9-for-21 (42.9%) from three-point distance, over two games for the Skyhawks this week. Also converted all ten free-throw attempts and chipped in 3.5 rebounds per game for the week. Opened with 27 points on 9-of-18 shooting (7-for-15 threes) with two rebounds in Tuesday's 80-70 win at American International. Followed with 20 points, five rebounds and a steal against Saint Rose on Sunday.
