NE10 Announces Schedule Changes to Men's and Women's Basketball Championships

Basketball Championship Changes - 2022

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Impending Snowstorm to Impact Playing Dates.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference altered the schedule for its Men's and Women's Basketball Championships on Thursday, as an impending snowstorm is expected to affect travel on Friday throughout the region.

Due to the expected inclement weather, nearly half of NE10 first round games have been moved from Friday to Saturday on both the men's and women's sides. In order to account for these postponements and to maintain competitive equity, the new date of the quarterfinals for the NE10 Men's and Women's Basketball Championships – originally scheduled for Sunday, February 27 - will now be on Monday, February 28.

The Men's Basketball Championship will also move its semifinals to Thursday, March 3, and championship final to Sunday, March 6 – matching the schedule of the Women's Basketball Championship.

Additionally, the New Haven-Saint Michael's men's game has been declared a "no contest" due to established institutional and conference COVID-19 health protocols. New Haven will advance to the NE10 quarterfinals on Monday.

Updated schedules for both the NE10 Men's and Women's Basketball Championships are below. Fans who plan on attending games on Friday are encouraged to travel safely. All contests throughout the championships will be streamed live and for free on NE10 NOW – the Conference's digital streaming platform.
