Among other historic runs for Bentley women's basketball, the five-year stretch from 1988 to 1993 was one for the record books. Under future Hall of Fame head coach Barbara Stevens, the Falcons posted five-consecutive 30-win seasons, including 87 victories in 90 NE10 games for an overall record of 156-16 – a winning percentage of .907. The run began with a 31-3 record during the 1988-1989 season and continued with marks of 31-4, 33-3, 31-2 and 30-4 the next four years. The Falcons made five straight appearances in the national semifinals, including a trip to the national title game in 1990. In 1993, Bentley even hosted the national semifinals at the Dana Center. That five-year span continues to be the most storied run in the history of NE10 basketball. It is the second induction into the NE10 Hall of Fame for the Bentley women's basketball program, following the 2013-2014 team which won the Division II National Championship.
