NE10 RELEASE

Franklin Pierce Administrator and Former Coach Bruce Kirsh.

Bruce Kirsh spent 45 years at Franklin Pierce, including the last 39 as the school’s Director of Athletics. A 1971 graduate of the school, he helped lead the school’s transition into the NE10 prior to the 2000-01 academic year. Since joining the conference, Franklin Pierce has won 24 NE10 titles, 16 regional titles, and the Ravens won the 2007 Men’s Soccer National Title.

His external influence in Rindge is perhaps exhibited best by the continued improvement of the University’s facilities during his time. He spear-headed construction of Sodexo Field, Pappas Field, the Pappas Training Center, and the new softball facility. Most recently, the Bruce and Patricia Kirsh Baseball Clubhouse opened its doors in 2015.

Bruce served as the basketball coach at Franklin Pierce for 12 years and compiled a 254-119 mark. His .719 win percentage is still among the best in small college history to this day. He also spent time as the school’s baseball, softball, golf, women’s basketball, and women’s tennis coach
