NE-10 RELEASE

Mackenzy Bernadeau was one of the most decorated offensive linemen ever to play in the NE-10. He was a three-time first team all-conference selection and twice was named first team all-region.

In 2007, he was selected as an AFCA All-American after finishing his career having started each of the 37 games that he dressed in a Bentley uniform.

Following his time in Waltham, Bernadeau was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the 7th Round of the 2008 draft, and he recently completed his 8th season in the NFL. Only 11 active 7th round selections have ever played in more games in their careers.

  • Bernadeau, who signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in March, began his NFL career with Carolina before spending the last four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys
  • Bernadeau was named NE-10 Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2006 and 2007, the first of three players to ever win the award more than once
  • Over his eight seasons in the NFL, Bernadeau has played in 111 games and has started in 49 contests
  • During the 2012 season, the former Falcon started in all 16 games for the Cowboys, and he has appeared in all 16 games in six of his last seven seasons
