It seems there not be a lot Andy Laska has not done for Assumption College athletics. Serving the institution since 1951 as basketball coach from 1951-67 where he was a two-time New England Coach of the Year, golf coach from 1969-86, and director of athletics from 1956-86.

Along the way, he has given countless hours of his time, serving on an extraordinary number of committees including ones with the NCAA, ECAC, Coaches Associations, the NIT, and the Worcester Chamber of Commerce.

He was elected to the Assumption Hall of Fame in 1967, the Holy Cross Hall of Fame in 2002, the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003 and Assumption's basketball gymnasium is named in his honor.

Andy's vision and influence in creating the NE-10 will be forever appreciated.
