The second honoree tonight from the storied Bentley women's basketball program, Kim (Penwell) Seymour not only starred on the basketball court, she also starred in the classroom.

This 1992 Northeast-10 Player of the Year was a pivotal member of a squad that posted an incredible four year record of 125 wins against just 13 losses, won two Northeast-10 Tournament titles, and reached a remarkable four consecutive NCAA Final Fours.

On Bentley's all-time list, she stands sixth all time in scoring (1,586 points) and 11th in rebounds (712). She was just the third player in school history to surpass 1,500 career points.

Beyond the NE-10, accolades included being named to the WBCA/Kodak All-American Team in 1991 and 1992 and was a three-time GTE Academic All-American including a first team selection in 1992.

Her academic achievement also resulted in the granting of an NCAA postgraduate scholarship.
