The first woman inducted to the Saint Anselm Hall of Fame, Guimont has the distinction of being the College’s first female coach in any sport. Currently, she is in her seventh year as the College’s associate director of athletics.

On the court, established herself as one of the winningest coaches in the history of Division II basketball.

Guimont has a career overall record of 336-165 with seven 20-win seasons, 17 winning seasons (the 1991 NE-10 Tournament Championship), and advanced to four NCAA Tournaments.

Her 1991 women’s basketball team was the first team ever inducted into the Saint Anselm College Athletic Hall of Fame.

Guimont, a former NE-10 Coach of the Year and Converse Regional Coach of the Year, produced seven All-Americans, and has seen a number of former players move on to the coaching ranks themselves.

At the same time that Guimont was becoming the winningest head coach in school history and turning the school into one of the region’s most respected program’s, she was also holding positions as head coach for women’s softball and volleyball.

She is a former member and chair of the NCAA national women’s basketball committee.

From 1998 to 2002, served as the New England chairperson for women’s soccer.

Guimont is a member of the Manchester, N.H. Queen City Hall of Fame and is a member of the Manchester Union Leader “Parade of Champions” for her decades of coaching in the Queen City and the State of New Hampshire.

She has been a nationally-prominent men’s and women’s softball official and a fully-accredited basketball official.

Most recently, in the summer of 2005, Guimont was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame.
