NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Amari Johnson, Adelphi
Junior | Mooresville, N.C.

Johnson put up an NCAA provisional mark in the first indoor meet of the season, posting an 8.71 finish in the 60HH at the Fastrack Season Opener. Johnson's time, placed her first in the finals and both also set a new school record in the specialty.


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Valencia Beaubrun, Adelphi
Sophomore | Bayshore, N.Y.

Beaubrun placed first in the season opening meet in the long jump with a distance of 5.47m on her fourth attempt. This stands as a new career-best for indoor competition for the sophomore.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Mia Cruz, Saint Anselm
Freshman | Nashua, N.H.

Cruz kicked off the inaugural season for Saint Anselm with a sixth-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.98, making her the top finisher out of all Division II competitors. She also competed in the high jump event earning a 4.09 mark which was good for 15th place. Cruz was a member of the women's 4x200-meter relay squad clocking in at 1:47.58 to claim a third-place finish. 


NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Lindsey Wilson, Adelphi
Freshman | Peabody, Mass.

Wilson opened her first indoor collegiate season on a high note, jumping 1.60m on her first attempt to earn gold in the high jump at the Fastrack Season Opener.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x400 Relay, Southern Connecticut

The Owls' 4x400 relay of Avery Winters, Ella Maclean, Megan Swans and Hannah Caiola finished with a time of 3:55.46 in first place out of 11 teams at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at Boston University. Southern impressively crossed the finish line ahead of mostly NCAA Division I teams.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Michaella Namiotka, Assumption (So. - Holden, Mass.)
Namiotka finished second in the 800m, as she finished the race in 2:26.87.

Caitlin Burmester, Bentley (Jr. - Willow Grove, Pa.)
Burmester was third in the 3000M at the season opening Suffolk Relays with a time of 10:23.68.

Aniya Bush, New Haven (Fr. - Williamstown, N.J.)
Competing in her first meet as a Charger, after qualifying for the finals in the 60-meter hurdles, Bush finished seventh overall with a time of 9.75. She saw her better time in the event come in the preliminaries where she hit a mark of 9.72. She also finished with a time of 27.85 in the 200-meter dash.

Gabrielle Teel, New Haven (So. - Willow Grove, Pa.)
Competing in a pair of events in the season-opening meet for the Chargers, Teel saw her best performance of the day come in the triple jump where she finished second overall, among a field of 25, with her longest jump hitting 11.52 meters, 36'11". She also hit a mark of 4.76 meters, 15'7.5", in the long jump.

Rebecca Cady, Saint Anselm (So. - Lowell, Mass.)
At the Suffolk Relays on Saturday, Cady clocked in at 1:00.18 finishing second overall in the 400-meter dash and first out of all Division II competitors for Saint Anselm. She also competed in the 200-meter dash securing 7th-place with a time of 26.37 and recording the second-best time out of Division II opponents. 

Ava Houle, Saint Anselm (Fr. - Litchfield, N.H.)
Houle secured fourth place in the triple jump event with a mark of 10.23 meters, the best mark out of all Division II competitors, at the Suffolk Relays on Saturday to kick off Saint Anselm's inaugural season. She also competed in the long jump event capturing 13th place out of 46 opponents with a mark of 5.01 meters.

Emma Hallet, SNHU (Sr. - Billerica, Mass.) 
Hallet ran a 9.62 in the 60H at BU's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. She qualified for the finals and finished seventh in a competitive field.
