NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Bowen Lewis, Saint Anselm
Junior | Austin, Tex.

Lewis secured third place in the 60-meter dash on Saturday at the Panther Invite II hosted by Plymouth State University with a time of 7.18. It marks a new personal best for the Austin native and ties him to 17th overall in the conference.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Jaidin Haynes, Saint Anselm
Senior | Baltic, Conn.

Haynes captured first place in the long jump event on Saturday at the Panther Invite II with a mark of 6.78 meters. His mark earns him the second-best jump in the Northeast-10 Conference this season.


NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week

Angel Mendo Alonso, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Malaga, Esp.

At the Panther Invitational at Plymouth State University this weekend, Angel Mendo Alonso won both the 800m and the 3k. His 3k time (8:55) is the fastest mark by a freshmen in the condense this year. He also Ran a leg on the 4x800 relay that finished second.


NE10 Men's Field Rookie of the Week

Keenan Wood, Saint Rose
Freshman 

Wood scored fourth in the triple jump with a career-best distance of 13.38 meters at Utica on Saturday. With this weekend's mark, Wood currently ranks fifth in the Northeast-10 Conference for the event.


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

4x800, Saint Anselm
The Hawks captured third place in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 8:23.81 on Saturday at the Panther Invite II hosted by Plymouth State University. The relay team featured sophomore Neil Harrington (Malden, Mass.), senior Chris Hogan (Plymouth, Mass.), senior Trevor Scopelites (Litchfield, N.H.), and senior Patrick Kennedy (Milton, Mass.).


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Nicholas Maltese, Adelphi (Fr., North Massapequa, N.Y.)
Maltese finished in the top-8 in both the high jump and the pole vault at the ESU Deschriver meet. His 1.73 clearance in the high jump placed him eighth in the field, and ranks him in the same spot among NE10 freshman this season. In the pole vault he was sixth at ESU, clearing 3.00 on his first attempt.

Nicholas Paul, Adelphi (Fr., West Hempstead, N.Y.)
In his first track and field meet - did not compete prior to college - Paul won his flight for the weight throw and placed 11th overall at the ESU meet. On his third toss, he landed a throw 11.61m to set his personal best in the specialty.

Sergio Talamo, Adelphi (Fr., Massapequa, N.Y.)
Talamo placed seventh overall in the 55 hurdles, facing off against in region competition - clocking in at 8.54 in the event.

Evan Bean, Bentley (Sr., Clifton Park, N.Y.)
Bean was second in the 400 meter at the Panther Invitational II with a time of 52.68. He also ran leadoff for the 4x200 relay team that finished in 3rd.

 

Jimmy Oreste, New Haven (Jr., Jamaica, N.Y.)
In his sixth meet of the season, Oreste set a new personal-best in the weight throw with a toss of 16.07 meters (52'8.75") to finish ninth overall, among a field of 28 throwers, at the Boston University Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational.
