NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Stephen Harris, Franklin Pierce
Sophomore | Billerica, Mass.

On Friday, Stephen Harris competed at the Jon Donahue Games Opener as the lone Raven in the event. During the Men's 200 meter race, Harris finished first with a time of 21.22, which is the third fastest time in the country this season, a new school record and is a national provisional mark.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Adelino Daveiga, Southern Connecticut
Junior | Cape Verde, Africa

At the Art Kadish Elm City Classic, Daveiga won the Weight Throw event with a distance of 18.29m, which stands as the 13th best throw in NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field this season and the top NE10 throw of the year. His throw of 60'00.25" was a personable best, and beat the second place thrower from Adelphi by 8' 6". 


NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week

Matai Hazel, Saint Rose
Freshman | Jamaica, N.Y.

Hazel set the Saint Rose men's indoor program record in the 300-meter with a time of 35.47 seconds at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout on Friday. Hazel also helped the Golden Knights set another men's record in the 4 x 200 relay (1:32.35).


NE10 Men's Field Rookie of the Week

Nate Donahue, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Middleborough, Mass.

Ham had a solid showing in his collegiate debut, as he tied for the high jump win and cleared 1.85m. He was also the third leg of the 4x200m relay that finished fifth. 


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

4x200 Relay, Saint Rose

Reese Casinelli, Dionis Best, Matai Hazel, and Shemar Delphin set a Saint Rose indoor 4 x 200 relay program record while taking third place in Friday's Wagner Seahawk Shootout. The group earned the record with a time of 1:32.35.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

George Dixon IV, Assumption University (GS, East Bridgewater, Mass.)
Dixon took first and second in the two races that he competed in at the Beacon Relays on Sunday. He won the 200m (22.35) before taking second in the 60m (7.14), just 0.03 of a second behind teammate Jared Gibbons.

Jared Gibbons, Assumption(Fr, - East Providence, RI)
Gibbons took first and sixth in his two Sunday events at the Beacon Relays. He won the 60m (7.10), before placing sixth in the 200m (22.99).

Quinn Riesenberg , Bentley (So, North Reading, Mass.)
Riesenberg won both the long jump and triple jump at the Beacon Invitational on Sunday. In the long jump, he cleared 6.26 meters to finish .05 meters ahead of the next best competitor. In the triple jump, he won with a distance of 12.33-m.

Rocco Basso, Saint Anselm (Sr., Millis, Mass.)
Basso led Saint Anselm in the shot put event on Friday at the Joe Donahue Games Opener after earning a mark of 12.52 meters to secure sixth place along with the best Division II finish.

Samuel Jones, Saint Anselm (Fr., Salem, N.H.)
Jones claimed eighth place with a time of 23.04 out of 33 competitors in the 200-meter dash on Friday at the Joe Donahue Games Opener. It was the second-best time out of all Division II competitors in the race.

Stephen Quinn, Saint Anselm (Sr., Portsmouth, R.I.)
Quinn was the top Division II finisher in the 60-meter dash on Friday at the Joe Donahue Games Opener after clocking in at 7.31. Quinn also competed in the 200-meter dash clocking in at 23.23 for 14th place and the third-best time out of Division II competitors.

Nolan Freeman, Southern Connecticut (So., New Milford, Conn.)
At the Art Kadish Elm City Classic, Nolan Freeman won the 200 Meter run with a personal-best and meet record time of 22.04, which was the 13th best time of the year in NCAA Division II and the second-best NE10 time of the year. Freeman also finished second in the 55 Meters with a personal-best time of 6.44, which ranks as the top NE10 time of the year and third-best in the country, to date.

Max Musial, Southern Connecticut (Fr., - Bethany, Conn.)
At the Art Kadish Elm City Classic, first-year Owl Max Musial won the 400 Meter Run with a time of 51.16.
