NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Bryan Combary, Adelphi
Junior  |  Harrisburg, Penn.

Bryan Combary placed first in the 110 hurdles event at the Wilton Wright Invitational, crossing the finish line in 14.88 seconds. His time lands him fourth in the East Region after the weekend's events.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Jackson Marescot, New Haven
Senior  |  Spring Valley, N.Y.

With 18 points towards the Chargers first place finish as a team, Marescot finished top-two in two jumping events, taking runner-up in the long jump and earning medal honors in the triple jump. In the long jump, He hit a distance of 6.81m (22' 4.25") while he leapt to a distance of 13.91m 945' 7.75") in the triple jump.


NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week

Jeremy Rivera, Southern Connecticut State
Freshman  l  Colchester, Conn.

Rivera won the 800 Meter run with a time of 1:56.17 at the Wilton Wright Invitational.


NE10 Men's Field Rookie of the Week

Tyler Delgado, Assumption
Graduate Rookie l Westfield, Mass. 

Delgado won the Men's Javelin at the Southern Connecticut Wilton Wright Invitational as he tossed a program-record 62.17m.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Sergio Talamo, Adelphi (Fr., Massapequa, N.Y.)
Clearing a height of 3.80m over the weekend at the Wilton Wright Invitational, Talamo has the best pole vault for a rookie thus far in the NE10. He went up and over 3.80 on his second attempt, successfully besting three other league competitors and two individuals from Sacred Heart.

George Dixon, Assumption (Gr., East Bridgewater, Mass.)
Dixon came in second in both the Men's 100m (10.72) and the Men's 200m (22.02) at the Southern Connecticut Wilton Wright Invitational on Saturday.

Richard Fortune, New Haven (Fr.)
In a pair of throwing events at this weekend's Wilton Wright Invitational, Fortune racked up 13 points with a pair of top-eight finishes including taking medal distinction in the discus throw with a toss of 41.92m (137' 6"). He also finished sixth in the shot put.

Adelino Daveiga, Southern Connecticut State (Sr., Cape Verde, Africa)
At the Wilton Wright Invitational, Daveiga hit a mark of 54.16m for first place in the Hammer Throw.

Sean Barkasy, Southern Connecticut State (So. Manchester, Conn.)
At the Wilton Wright Invitational, Barkasy finished second in the 1500 Meters with a time of 4:04.43.
