NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Stephen Harris
Junior  |  Billerica, Mass.

Harris won the 200m at the UConn Northeast Challenge with the 2nd fastest time in NCAA this season at 20.70. The time sets not only a new FPU program record, but is the fastest time run by an Northeast-10 athlete in Conference history.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete and Rookie of the Week

Tyler Delgado, Assumption
Graduate Rookie l Westfield, Mass.

The now three-time Rookie of the Week continued to excel in the Javelin, as he won the SNHU Penmen Relays with a program record of 63.03m (206' 9"), which ranks 18th nationally, and second in the NE10.


NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week

Jack Mulcunry, Southern Connecticut State
Freshman  l  Bristol, Conn.

Out of a field of 235 mostly-Division I runners in the 800 Meter Run, Mulcunry led the Owls with a time of 1:53.26 for 86th place at the Bryan Clay Invitational.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Bryan Combary, Adelphi (Jr., Harrisburg, Penn.)
Combary finished fifth overall at the Bison Outdoor Classic in the 110 hurdles and was the top Division II competitor. His time of 14.82 ranks fourth in the East Region and was the fastest time in the NE10 this weekend for the specialty.

Matthew Wenz, Adelphi (Jr., Rego Park, N.Y.)
Wenz finished his first decathlon of the 2024 outdoor season at the UConn Northeast Challenge, scoring 5,166 to rank fourth in the East Region. His best event of the weekend was the 110 hurdles where he raced to a top-10 finish in a time of 16.61. Wenz and teammate Bishopp Boutin were the lone Division II competitors in the multis event.

DJ Chaudhry, Assumption (Fr., Litchfield, N.H.)
Chaudhry had a pair of first-place finishes at the SNHU Penmen Relays, as he won the 400 (49.38), and was the second leg of the Men's 4x100 Relay (42.54)

Jordan Emile, New Haven (Jr., Stoughton, Mass.)
Combined in the two hurdle events at this weekend's Silfen Invitational, Emile earned 18 points to help the Chargers to a second place finish at the two-day event. In the sprint hurdles, he finished second overall with a time of 15.20 while he improved in the 400-meter hurdles to take home medal honors with a time of 57.38.

Jacky Marescot, New Haven (Gr., Spring Valley, N.Y.)
A pair of first place finishes with a personal best for the graduate jumper as he helped lead the Chargers to a 2nd place finish at the Silfen Invitational. His personal best came in the high jump where he eclipsed a height of 1.92m (6'3.5"). He then took home medal honors in the long jump with a leap of 6.79m (22'3.5"). For the season he holds the top spot in both events on the team as well as in the Northeast-10.

Jadin Haynes, Saint Anselm (Sayerville, N.J.)
Haynes earned second place in the long jump event on Saturday at the 5th Annual Penmen Relays with a mark of 6.65 meters. His jump in the event now ranks him seventh overall in the conference.

Ramsley Exantus, Southern Connecticut State (Grad., Stratford, Conn.)
Exantus finished seventh out of 35 with a time of 53.07 in the 400 Meter Hurdles, at the Long Beach State Pacific Coast Invitational. At the Bryan Clay Invitational, Exantus finished in 16th place with over 50 competitors, with a time of 52.99, which stands as the Owls' top time this season in the 400 Meter Hurdles.

Bernardo Mbaya, Southern Connecticut State (Grad., Waterbury, Conn.)
Mbaya won the Shot Put with a throw of 17.85 meters at the UConn Northeast Challenge.
