Five NE10 Institutions Place in Top 100 of LEARFIELD Directors' Cup Standings in 2022-23

SNHU with Highest Finish in Program History.


MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had all 13 of its member institutions rank in the final standings of the 2022-23 LEARFIELD Directors' Cup – a metric used to award points based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships – as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). 

Southern New Hampshire led all NE10 institutions with a 23rd-place finish in the LEARFIELD standings with 481.5 points. The Penmen achieved their highest finish in program history in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup, as they earned 212.5 points during the spring - the most points for any individual season for SNHU. Baseball led the way in the spring, finishing as a national semifinalist and recording 83 points, while volleyball tallied 73 points as a national quarterfinalist. 

Adelphi was second among NE10 schools and 28th overall with a total of 465.5 points. The Panthers collected 224 points this spring behind NCAA appearances in men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse and softball. It is the fourth straight season that Adelphi has finished amongst the top five NE10 institutions in the LEARFIELD standings. 

As a conference, the NE10 tied for fifth in Division II in the total number of schools recognized (13) and tied for ninth in number of schools ranked in the top 100 (5).

Franklin Pierce (63), Le Moyne (82) and Bentley (99) joined SNHU and Adelphi in the top 100 of the LEARFIELD standings. For a full list of NE10 institutions, please see below. 

Adelphi totaled a league-high 224.0 points in the spring, while Le Moyne (222.5) and Southern New Hampshire (212.5) both also earned over 200 points with their spring programs. 

SNHU's 23rd-place finish is tied for 10th-best in NE10 history. Pace joined SNHU with a record-breaking performance this season, as the Setters finished 101st overall with 212.5 points - surpassing the department's previous best finish of 125th. Pace earned 100 points in women's lacrosse after winning the NCAA title for the first time in program history.
