NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week

Zach Papsco, Bentley
Senior | Northport, N.Y.

In the Falcons' season-opening win at Wheaton, Papsco earned wins in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:00.24) and the 100 butterfly (52.81) with both times Northeast-10 season-bests. He also was part of two winning relays with times of 1:35.65 in the 200 medley and 1:28.12 in the 200 free.


NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week

Dariana Gonzales, Bentley
Junior | Stamford, Conn.

In a season-opening loss to Wheaton, Gonzales finished first in the 200 back (2:08.42), was second in both the 200 free (1:55.28) and the 200 individual medley (2:16.52). She also led off the 200 medley relay that was second in 1:50.38, swimming the backstroke leg in 27.93. All three individual times were Northeast-10 season-bests.


NE10 Men's Diver of the Week

Owen Busser, Bentley
Senior | Chemsford, Mass.

Busser swept the diving events in a win at Wheaton College with scores of 200.40 from the one-meter board and 171.30 from the three-meter.


NE10 Women's Diver of the Week

Mary Huminski, Bentley
Junior | Madison, Conn.

The 2019-20 Northeast-10 Women's Diver of the Year captured both diving events in the Falcons' season-opening meet at Wheaton. She posted scores of 261.70 from the one meter and 240.00 from the three meter.


NE10 Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week

Andrew Matjucha, Bentley
Sophomore | Randolph, N.J.

In his first collegiate meet, Majucha captured the two distance events with times of 10:23.33 in the 1000 free and 5:07.64 in the 500. His 1,000 time was a Northeast-10 season-best.


NE10 Women's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week

Grace Thomas, Le Moyne
R-Freshman | Clifton, Park, N.Y.

She won two individual events and teamed on a relay victory in Le Moyne's 169-87 win over Saint Michael's on Saturday. She claimed the 100-yard backstroke by over three seconds with a time of 1:00.26. It is the best time in the NE10 this season. In the 200-yard backstroke, she won by almost eight seconds with a time of 2:13.21, which is the second-fastest in the NE10 this year. She also led off the first-place 200-yard medley relay, which won in 1:55.26.


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

200 Yard Freestyle Relay, Bentley

Bentley closed out a season-opening meet at Wheaton College by taking first in the 200 free. Junior Ryan Looney (Wilton, Conn.), senior Zach Papsco (Northport, N.Y.), freshman John Marzano (Hillsdale, N.J.) and senior Mark Zoda (Nashua, N.H.) combined for a time of 1:28.12.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

200 Yard Medley Relay, Bentley

At Wheaton, junior Dariana Gonzales (Stamford, Conn.), sophomore Emily Blatt (Westford, Mass.), freshman Jordan Nuzback (Fairview, Pa.) and junior Kate Galvin (Suffern, N.Y.) combined to finish second in 1:50.38. Gonzalez had an outstanding opening leg with a 27.93 in the 50 back.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

200 Yard Medley Relay, Le Moyne 
The quartet of Grace Thomas, Mikael Ann Melfi, Jessica Testone and Caitlyn Longway won the 200-yard medley relay by over two seconds with a time of 1:55.26 in Le Moyne's 169-87 win over Saint Michael's on Saturday.

Justin Byrne, Le Moyne (Fr. - Syracuse, N.Y.)
He won both of the one-meter diving events in Le Moyne's 173-117 win over Saint Michael's on Saturday. In the first one, he registered a score of 167.20 for the victory. He posted 260.95 points to win the second event.

Thomas Kane, Saint Michael's (Fr. - Sparta, N.J.)
Freshman Thomas Kane (Sparta, N.J.) won twice while finishing second two additional times in a dual meet at Le Moyne on Saturday. Kane took the 100 breaststroke (1:04.38) and 200 IM (2:11.27) while anchoring the second-place 200 medley relay (1:42.99), which finished only 0.70 seconds out of first place. Kane also anchored the runner-up 400 freestyle relay (3:26.93).

Tierra Damico, The College of Saint Rose (So. - Ballston Spa, N.Y.)
At Hartwick on Saturday, Damico finished first on the 1-meter board with a total score of 203.50.

Colleen Quaglia, The College of Saint Rose (Gr. - East Greenbush, N.Y.)
Quaglia earned first place finishes in the 200 free (1:57.61), 200 back (2:11.45), 200 IM (2:12.98) and swam the anchor leg of the winning 200 free relay (1:44.77) to help the Golden Knights sweep Saturday's quint meet at Hartwick.

Sydney Stockwell, Stonehill (So. - Hopkinton, N.H.)
Led the Skyhawks to a pair of head to head wins in a tri-meet at Eastern Connecticut State on Saturday, with Regis, by winning all three of her individual swims to remain undefeated through her first two collegiate meets and was also part of Stonehill's first place 200-yard medley relay that finished first as well. Stockwell won the 50-yard backstroke in 28.92-seconds, before adding a win in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:02.64. She followed that by winning the 100-yard backstroke in 1:02.33. Her two backstroke times continue to rank among the top three in the NE10 so far this season.

Stonehill 200 Yard Medley Relay
Stonehill's 200-yard medley relay finished first in 1:56.23 as the Skyhawks posted a pair of head to head wins in Saturday's tri-meet at Eastern Connecticut State, with Regis. Sophomore Sydney Stockwell swam the lead backstroke leg, followed by freshmen Jami Hepburn on the breaststroke, Sharlotte Lundell  with the butterfly and then Julie Mastroianni on the freestyle anchor leg.
