NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week

Charles Morris, Le Moyne
Junior | East Aurora, N.Y.

He recorded four individual victories and teamed on a relay win in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. He opened the week by winning the 50-yard freestyle in 21.66 seconds and the 100-yard freestyle in 47.72 seconds in a 132-89 victory over Alfred. He won the 50-meter freestyle in 23.79 seconds and the 100-meter freestyle in 54.53 seconds in a 138-93 victory over Nazareth on Friday, while teaming to win the 200-meter medley relay.


NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week

Katie Galvin, Bentley
Junior | Suffern, N.Y.

Competing only about 25 miles from her hometown, Galvin won three individual events at Pace University after swimming anchor on the Falcons' winning 200 medley relay (1:56.31). Her victories came in the 200 freestyle (2:00.25 with a margin of victory of 0.22 seconds), 55.50 in the 100 free and 27.72 in the 50 butterfly.


NE10 Men's Diver of the Week

Patrick Dwyer, Pace
Senior | Tompkins Cove, N.Y.

It was yet another sensational diving day for senior Dwyer that highlighted the Setters' meet against Bentley last week. Dwyer not only broke his own school record in the one-meter, but his score of 299.4 also eclipsed the NCAA's qualifying standard. Dwyer, who has now posted NCAA qualifying scores in both diving events this season, achieved the top mark in the three-meter (275.25) as well on Saturday.


NE10 Women's Diver of the Week

Mary Huminski, Bentley
Junior | Madison, Conn.

Huminski swept the diving at Pace with scores of 279.30 from the one-meter board and 247.80 from the three-meter. This season, she?s finished first in 12 of 14 competitions.


NE10 Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week

Justin Byrne, Le Moyne
Freshman | Syracuse, N.Y.

He went 4-0 as the Dolphins won a pair of dual meets. He won both one-meter diving events in a 132-89 win over Alfred on Tuesday with 168.95 and 280.45 points, respectively. He then won the one-meter diving event with 278.17 points and captured the three-meter with 261.45 points in a 138-93 victory at Nazareth on Friday.


NE10 Women's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week

Emma Hapkiewicz, Bentley
Sophomore | South Windsor, Conn.

Hapkiewicz was a double-winner at Pace as she swam the 1650 yard freestyle in 18:25.83, a Northeast-10 season-best, and the 500 free in 5:23.53. In addition, she posted a time of 1:09.30 while placing third in the 100 individual medley.


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

200 Medley Relay, Bentley

Bentley launched its first meet in six weeks by winning the 200 yard medley relay by more than five seconds with a time of 1:38.14. Senior Oscar Chang swam the opening leg and was followed into the pool by junior Anthony Vizental and classmates Zach Papsco and Mark Zoda.

200 Medley Relay, Bentley

Bentley opened a 176-104 win at Pace by placing first in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:56.21. Freshman Cleo Zhou led off and was followed by sophomore Emily Blatt, freshman Jordan Nuzback and junior Kate Galvin.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Skyler Nenadich, Adelphi (Jr. - Bayside, N.Y. )
Skyler Nenadich shined in both the one meter and three meter dive events against the College of Staten Island, scoring 22 and 28 points higher, respectively, than her next competitor to place first overall in both specialties.

Timothy Yeung, Adelphi (So. - New Hyde Park, N.Y. )
Timothy Yeung secured two first place finishes at the College of Staten Island, earning wins in both the 200 and 500 freestyle events. Yeung bested the field in both events, finishing over 10 seconds than Charles Cusumano from Staten Island in the latter and six seconds quicker in the former.

Erin Tague, Assumption (Jr. - Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.)
Tague took second in both the 1000 and 500 yard freestyle events at home against Division I Providence on Saturday. She finished with a time of 5:29.55 in the 500 and a time of 11:16.25 in the 1000 yard free.

Oscar Chang, Bentley (Sr. - Dix Hills, N.Y.)
In a win at Pace University, Chang earned victories in both the 100 yard butterfly (53.94) and the 100 backstroke (55.03) after swimming the opening leg on the Falcons? 200 medley relay that finished first in 1:38.14. In addition, he was second in the 100 individual medley with a personal best 56.63.

Caitlyn Longway, Le Moyne College (Jr. - Sauquoit, N.Y.)
She won four individual events in Le Moyne's 1-1 week. She registered the win in the 50-yard freestyle by almost two seconds by touching the wall in 25.27 seconds and was victorious in the 100-yard freestyle by almost three seconds with a time of 55.52 seconds in Le Moyne's 140-61 win over Alfred on Tuesday. She claimed the 200-meter freestyle by less than half a second by touching the wall in 2:16.85 and won the 100-meter freestyle by over two seconds with a time of 1:01.55 in a 126-111 loss to Nazareth on Friday.

200 Meter Medley Relay, Le Moyne College
The quartet of Dominic Fratto, Charles Morris, Brandon Bardin and Alex Turczyn won the 200-meter medley relay in 1:50.08 to open Le Moyne's 138-93 win at Nazareth on Friday.

200 Yard Medley Relay, Le Moyne College
The quartet of Grace Thomas, Mikael Ann Melfi, Hannah Kellogg and MaryLauren Burke won the 200-yard medley relay in 1:57.40 to open Le Moyne's 140-61 win over Alfred on Tuesday.

Sofiya Gobora, Stonehill (Fr. - Sarasota, Fla.)
Led the way for the Skyhawks with wins in all three of her individual swims on the afternoon to score a team-high 27 points in Saturday's dual meet win at UMass Dartmouth. She started with a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:17.20. Gobora added a win in the 100-yard freestyle in 58.82-seconds and then completed her day with a 5:01.57 in the 400-yard individual medley. Gobora also swam the lead backstroke leg for Stonehill's 200-yard medley relay that posted a time of 2:01.41 in 30.63-seconds.

200 Yard Medley Relay, Stonehill
Stonehill's 200-yard medley relay scored max points in Saturday's dual meet win at UMass Dartmouth, posting a time of 2:01.41. Freshman Sofiya Gobora finished the lead leg in 30.63-seconds, before Sharlotte Lundell completed the breaststroke leg in 32.69-seconds and then sophomore Sydney Stockwell swam the butterfly leg in 27.81-seconds, before junior Maggie Timmoney finished the freestyle anchor leg in 30.28-seconds.
