One NE10 Swimmer & Seven Divers Qualify for NCAA Championships

Three Bentley Student-Athletes Selected to NCAA Championships


MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 had one swimmer and six diver qualify for the 2022 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, as announced by the NCAA on Wednesday evening. 

Bentley's Emma Hapkiewicz was the lone swimmer to qualify and did so in the 1650 freestyle. The sophomore is ranked 24th nationally in the event after her NE10-record time of 17:12.89 this past weekend.

Divers Hilla Almog and Mary Huminski from Bentley will take part in the NCAA's pre-qualifying meet following their performances in the NE10 Championships. Adelphi's Skyler Nenadich also qualified from the women's side.

Reigning NE10 Champion Andrew Buehler of Southern Connecticut will represent the NE10, as will Pace divers Patrick Dwyer and Sean Rorke, and Le Moyne's Justin Byrne.

The NCAA Championships take place March 9-12 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
