NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week

Chandler Tucker, Southern Connecticut
Senior | Bellmore, N.Y.

Against Pace, Chandler Tucker (Bellmore, N.Y.) won the 100 Yard Backstroke with a personal-best time of 59.01 and also won the 200 Yard Backstroke with the Owls' season-best of 2:01.97. He was also part of the 400 Yard Medley Relay team that posted a time of 3:40.75. Against Yale, he swam an all-time best 47.68 in the 100 Free for a second-place finish, while also finishing second in the 100 Back at 52.35.


NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week

Lindsay McCawley, Southern Connecticut
Freshman | Horseheads, N.Y.

Against Pace, Lindsay McCawley posted a pair of wins in the 200 Yard Breaststroke at 2:32.09 and the 200 Freestyle at 2:01.72. McCawley was also part of the 400 Medley Relay team that posted a season-best 4:11.79 for the win. Against Yale, McCawley posted a second-place finish in the 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:18.24.


NE10 Men's Diver of the Week

Andrew Buehler, Southern Connecticut
Sophomore | Wallingford, Conn.

Against Yale, Andrew Bueller posted a season-best and NCAA-qualifying score of 301.80 on the 1 Meter and a 243.98 in the 3 Meter competition.


NE10 Women's Diver of the Week

Nicholle Denault, Southern Connecticut
Sophomore | West Hartford, Conn.

Against Pace, Nicholle Denault (West Hartford, Conn.) was victorious in the 1 Meter Dive, finishing first with a score of 203.63, 38.55 higher than the second-place finisher. Denault also competed in the 3 Meter Dive and finished second with a score of 177.53. She also posted a score of 208.8 on the 1 Meter against Yale and 173.18 on the 3 Meter.


NE10 Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week

Tyler Besnoff, Pace
Sophomore | Lititz, Pa.

Besnoff put together a pair of solo victories against Southern Connecticut State on Dec. 10. The Pennsylvania native tallied low marks in both the 200-free (1:51.99) and the 400-IM (4:27.03). Besnoff was also a member of relay wins against SCSU and the College of Staten Island.


NE10 Women's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week

Lindsay McCawley, Southern Connecticut
Freshman | Horseheads, N.Y.

Against Pace, Lindsay McCawley posted a pair of wins in the 200 Yard Breaststroke at 2:32.09 and the 200 Freestyle at 2:01.72. McCawley was also part of the 400 Medley Relay team that posted a season-best 4:11.79 for the win. Against Yale, McCawley posted a second-place finish in the 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:18.24.


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

400 Medley Relay, Southern Connecticut

Against Pace, the Owls were victorious in the 400 Yard Medley Relay as Derek Melanson (Plantsville, Conn.), Chandler Tucker (Bellmore, N.Y.), Mike Aiello (Monroe, Conn.), and Timothy Kanaley (Sayville, N.Y.) took first place with a time of 3:40.75.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

400 Yard Medley Relay, Southern Connecticut

Against Pace, the 400 Yard Medley Relay consisting of Olivia Strelevitz (Gales Ferry, Conn.), Lindsay McCawley (Horseheads, N.Y.), Ella Marzec (Bothell, Wash.), and Justice Glasgow (Warren, Mich.) captured first place with a time of 4:11.79.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Patrick Dwyer, Pace (Sr. - Tomkins Cove, N.Y.)
Dwyer won all four diving events during the Setters' final two meets of the fall semester. He was especially stellar during Pace's win over Staten Island when he broke his own school record in the one-meter with a score of 280.65. Dwyer also earned a top mark of 279.90 in the three-meter against the Dolphins. 

Amy Calandro, Pace (Sr. - Eastchester, N.Y.)
Calandro picked up a trio of victories during Pace's final two meets of the fall semester. After a top mark of 198.08 in the one-meter against SCSU, Calandro swept both events against the College of Staten Island. The senior tallied high scores of 220.43 (three-meter) and 191.10 (one-meter) versus the Dolphins.

Annie Keppel-Palmer, Pace (Gr. - Kent, England)
Keppel-Palmer led the way for Pace during the Setters' final two meets of the fall semester. The England native racked up three individual wins, in addition to helping out on two triumphant relays. Keppel-Palmer's top swim came in the 100-back against SCSU when she registered a low time of 1:02.50. She also came out victorious in the 100-back and 200-IM (2:23.23) against Staten Island.

Nate Imbergamo, Saint Michael's (Sr. - Madison, Conn.)
Senior Nate Imbergamo (Madison, Conn.) won three events while posting another trio of runner-up finishes during a two-meet week. At Norwich on Thursday, he won the 50 backstroke (26.68) and 100 backstroke (58.62) while helping the 400 medley relay (3:53.51) to victory. Imbergamo was on the second-place 200 freestyle relay (1:32.70), which lost by 0.51 seconds. On Saturday against Bates, he aided a pair of runner-up relays, during the 200 freestyle (1:33.10) and 200 medley (1:42.44) races. Imbergamo was third in the 100 backstroke (56.71), within 0.3 seconds of second place, and fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:52.65).

Will Settle, Saint Michael's (Fr. - Mechanicsburg, Pa.)
Freshman Will Settle (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) won twice while posting a pair of runner-up showings in a two-meet week. Settle was second in both one-meter diving events at Norwich on Thursday, notching 142.57 and 234.59 points to finish 16.8 and 6.54, respectively, behind the winner in each event. Against Bates on Saturday, he swept the one-meter dives with 141.25 and 177.17 points.

Margaret Wilk, Saint Michael's (Fr. - Hardyston, N.J.)
Freshman Margaret Wilk (Hardyston, N.J.) won four events among seven top-three finishes in a pair of meets last week. At Norwich on Thursday, she won the 200 freestyle (2:10.07) and 200 IM (2:22.94) while swimming for the top 200 freestyle (1:49.65) and 400 medley (4:37.87) relays. Against Bates on Saturday, Wilk was third in the 100 butterfly (1:04.29), just 0.15 seconds shy of the runner-up, while helping the 200 freestyle relay (1:50.55) and 200 medley relay (2:01.76) both take third. She finished fifth in the 100 freestyle (1:09.99).
