Bentley Men Selected to Repeat in NE10 Championship
MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Bentley was picked first in the NE10 Men's Swimming & Diving Coaches' Poll, in a vote by the league's head coaches ahead of this week's conference championship.
The Falcons are the two-time reigning NE10 Champions and finished with four first place votes and 34 points total to just edge out 2020 runner-up Southern Connecticut. The Owls finished with three first place votes and 33 points. These two programs have finished first or second in some order each of the past eight years, though Bentley has had the edge lately, winning three of the past four NE10 Titles.
The 2022 NE10 Swimming & Diving Championship begins on Thursday evening on the campus of Southern Connecticut and will continue through Sunday evening. Spectators are not allowed to attend this year, but each morning and evening session will be streamed live on NE10NOW.tv.
Le Moyne was picked third on the men's side with 24 points, while Adelphi was fourth with 16 points. Saint Michael's and Pace tied for fifth with 15 points while Saint Rose finished seventh with ten.
