MANSFIELD, Mass. – Recently six Northeast-10 men's and women's swimming & diving programs were named to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for their success in the classroom during the past fall semester.
On the women's side, six different schools were honored after posting a GPA over 3.0. Adelphi, Assumption, Bentley, Saint Michael's, Saint Rose and Stonehill were all honored while Adelphi, Bentley, Saint Michael's and Saint Rose were the men's teams to be named to the Scholar All-America Team.
The Bentley women's team posted the highest team GPA of all the women's programs honored posting a 3.55 GPA, while Saint Michael's was close behind with a 3.54 and Assumption was third with a 3.33. Adelphi led all men's teams with a 3.53 GPA, followed closely by Bentley (3.40) and Saint Rose (3.22).
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
