NE10 Player of the Week

Emma Carter, Franklin Pierce
Senior | Forward | Bristol, Vt.

Carter averaged 26.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in a 1-2 week for the Ravens. On Wednesday, she tallied 27 points, seven rebounds, one assist and a steal in a win at Post. On Friday, she had a 23-point, 12-rebound double-double, to go with one steal, in a loss to Caldwell. On Saturday, Carter scored a week-high 29 points, to go with six rebounds, two assists and a block in a loss at Dominican.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ines Gimenez Monserrat, Franklin Pierce
Sophomore (Freshman Eligibility) | Forward | Mallorca, Spain

Gimenez Monserrat averaged 14.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in a 1-2 week for the Ravens. In Wednesday's win at Post, she notched 21 points and nine rebounds, along with three assists and a block. On Friday, she was held to five points, but added seven boards, three steals and two assists in a loss to Caldwell. On Saturday, Gimenez Monserrat had a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double, along with three assists, two steals and a block in a loss at Dominican.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Kari Brekke, Bentley (Sr., G - Appleton, Wis.)
Brekke led Bentley to a 67-60 road win at Saint Anselm with 18 points, three rebounds and two steals. She made eight of 12 shots overall, sank half of her four three-pointers, and finished a +18.

Emma Brinker, Le Moyne (Sr, F - East Aurora, N.Y.)
Brinker averaged 19.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocks in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. She scored 26 points, grabbed 11 rebounds (including 10 offensive), blocked three shots and dished out two assists in an 82-48 season-opening victory over East Stroudsburg on Wednesday. She tallied 12 points, 13 rebounds (five offensive), three steals and two assists in a 65-48 win over New Haven on Saturday.

Lauren Schetter, Pace (Gr., F - Beacon, N.Y.)
Schetter once again led the Setters to victory last week. The graduate forward finished with 18 points and nine rebounds during Pace's 70-63 win over AIC on Saturday. She also chipped in a pair of blocks and a steal as the Setters moved to 2-0 on the season.

Peyton Steinman, Saint Anselm (Sr., G – Pittsfield, Mass.)
Steinman averaged 17.7 points and exactly eight rebounds as Saint Anselm posted a 1-2 overall record this past week. She posted 25 points and 10 rebounds against Bentley on Nov. 17 before picking up another double-double versus Caldwell, scoring 24 points alongside 11 rebounds.

Nicole Ladas, Saint Michael's (Sr., F - Glastonbury, Conn.)
Ladas netted a career-high 27 points with eight rebounds and two assists in a 75-72 upset of 13th-ranked Stonehill on Saturday. Ladas, who shot 11-for-20 from the field, including 5-for-9 from three-point range, made the eventual game-winning basket with 20.6 seconds remaining.

Meg Knollmeyer, Southern N.H. (Gr., F - Hampton, N.H.)
Knollmeyer tallied 11.5 points, 19.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per contest, while hitting on 42.1 percent (8-19) of her shots from the field and 87.5 percent (7-8) from the line. Knollmeyer posted eight points (3-10 FG, 2-2 FT), 13 boards, four blocks and three steals in a 70-52 loss to Assumption on Wednesday, before notching a double-double of 15 points (5-9 FG, 5-6 FT), a career-high 26 rebounds and four assists in Saturday's 72-61 win over Georgian Court. The 26 rebounds matched the program's single-game mark that stood unequaled for nearly 43 years. 

Emily Bramanti, Stonehill (Sr, G - Chelmsford, Mass.)
Scored 17 of her career-high 26 points in the second half as the Skyhawks rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit at Saint Michael's on Saturday. Finished shooting 9-of-16 from the floor, including 4-for-9 from three-point distance, making all four free-throw attempts, while adding six rebounds, eight assists, two steals and a blocked shot in Stonehill's lone game of the week.
