NE10 Player of the Week

Peyton Steinman, Saint Anselm
Senior | Guard | Pittsfield, Mass.

Steinman scored 20 points and logged 15.5 rebounds per game across a 2-0 week for Saint Anselm, scoring 11 points with 18 assists and four rebounds against Franklin Pierce on Wednesday before producing 29 points and 13 rebounds against Saint Michael's on Saturday. Against the Purple Knights on Senior Day, Steinman logged her second consecutive double-double and third in the team's last four games. She also eclipsed 1,700 career points scored on the Hilltop, becoming just the second in team history to reach that milestone. Steinman exited play with 1,717 career points across 114 games with Saint Anselm. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Jessica Knight, Southern New Hampshire
Sophomore (Freshman Eligibility) | Forward | Hanover, Mass.

Knight set a career-high with 16 points, one of five in double-figures as the Penmen defeated Stonehill on Saturday afternoon. Knight averaged 13.3 points and hit on 59.4% of her field goals in the three wins last week. She also averaged five rebounds per game. 


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Autumn Ceppi, Bentley (Gr., F - Bedford, Mass.) 
During a 1-2 week for the Falcons, Ceppi averaged 13.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.7 steals while shooting .438 overall and making seven of 10 free throws. At Franklin Pierce, she put up a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double and also had five steals and five assists. Ceppi made 8 of 15 from the field and collected eight offensive boards. Earlier in the week, she had 15 points in a win over New Haven.

Erin Fouracre, Le Moyne (Sr, G - Loudonville, N.Y.)
Fouracre averaged 15.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in Le Moyne's 1-1 week. She scored 15 points, tallied five assists and three steals in a win over AIC. 

Aurora Deshaies, New Haven (Jr, F - Syracuse, N.Y.)
Deshaies led the Chargers across three games last week averaging 16.3 points including a 20-20 performance in the final test of the week at Adelphi. She opened up the week scoring 10 points against Bentley before dropping in 17 to lead the team in a home win over crosstown rival Southern Connecticut. In that game she finished the day shooting 67% from the field (8-of-12). Deshaies then capped off the week in style as she dropped in 22 points and hauled in 21 rebounds on the road against the Panthers. For the week, She shot 55 percent from the field, connecting on 22-of-40.

Jessica Fressle, Southern Conn. St. (Gr, F - Levittown, N.Y.)
In a 2-2 week for the Owls, Fressle averaged a double-double of 14.8 ppg and 11.3 rpg, and also averaged 1.5 bpg and 1.3 spg, while playing all but four minutes. In Southern's overtime win over Saint Michael's, she recorded 13 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks, and two steals. Against New Haven, she had 12 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists. In a win at Saint Rose, she led the way with 22 points, 15 rebounds, three steals, and a block. At Stonehill, she recorded her 1,000th career point, in addition to scoring 12 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and a block.

Adriana Timberlake, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., G - Braintree, Mass.)
Timberlake helped led the Penmen to three more wins last week, helping her team to a 20-5 record and the NE10 Northeast Division crown. Timberlake started the week with 16 points at Le Moyne Monday, added 20 at Franklin Pierce Thursday, and finished with 16 points (co-leading scorer) in the win over Stonehill on Friday. She also added a total of 13 assists in the three games. 

Kayla Raymond, Stonehill (Sr, F - Easton, Mass.)
Averaged 20.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 blocked shots per game in three games played over a 3-1 week for the Skyhawks to wrap up the regular season. Opened the week with 18 points, aided by 2-of-4 shooting from three-point distance, nine rebounds, an assist, steal and blocked shot in Monday night's 60-51 win at American International. Totaled 24 points on 10-of-22 shooting, with nine rebounds and a blocked shot at Southern N.H. on Saturday. Capped the week with 19 points, hitting 4-of-8 threes, with nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks in Sunday's 65-46 win over Southern Connecticut State.
