NE10 Player of the Week
Camryn Thompson, Stonehill
Senior | Forward | Lincoln, R.I.
Thompson scored four of the Skyhawks' six goals in a 1-1 week for a total of eight points. She netted her first career hat trick to lead Stonehill to a 5-0 win over Maine-Fort Kent on Saturday. She also scored the Skyhawks lone goal at Jefferson on Wednesday, which knotted the match in the 83rd minute.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Brooke Caragher, Saint Michael's
Senior | Defense | Milton, Vt.
Caragher anchored a defense that recorded two shutouts during a 1-0-1 week. As the only Purple Knight to play all 200 minutes, the center back helped her squad allow only 13 shots on goal, downing UMaine-Fort Kent, the No. 1 team in USCAA Division I, on Thursday before playing to a scoreless draw at Southern Connecticut State on Saturday.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Allie Smith, Southern Connecticut
Graduate Student | Goalkeeper | Danbury, Conn.
Smith had two shutouts in a 1-0-1 week for the Owls. Through 200 minutes played, she made 10 stops between the pipes and averaged five saves per game against Franklin Pierce and Saint Michael's.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Alyssa Anderson, Southern New Hampshire
Sophomore (Freshman Eligibility) | Forward/Midfield | Londonderry, N.H.)
Anderson tallied three points on a goal and an assist, as the Penmen won their lone match of the week - a 2-0 affair at Assumption on Friday. Anderson set the tone with a goal just 5:20 into the contest and then set up an insurance tally with an assist on a 57th-minute strike.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Tamra Zippin, American Int'l (Jr, GK - Monson, Mass.)
Zippin's return to the net coincided with AIC's return to the win column on Saturday, as she slammed the door on Bentley with her fifth clean sheet of the season. She is third in the conference in shutouts.
Gabby Calidonio, Franklin Pierce (Fr., GK - Flagler Beach, Fla.)
Calidonio played every minute of a 1-1-0 week for the Ravens. On Wednesday night at SCSU, was beaten on only a second-half penalty kick, as she stopped six of seven shots in a losing effort. On Saturday at home, stopped five of six shots in a 4-1 win over Adelphi.
Viridiana Vazquez Kloss, Franklin Pierce (Jr., B - Veracruz, Mexico)
Part of a defensive unit which surrendered two goals in a 1-1-0 week for the Ravens. At the other end of the field, Vazquez Kloss scored a goal in Saturday night's 4-1 home win over Adelphi. Attempted three shots on the week, including two on goal.
Danielle Casey, Le Moyne (Fr, M - Clifton Park, N.Y.)
Casey scored twice in Le Moyne's 5-1 win over New Haven on Saturday. She netted the team's second goal in the 35th minute and fourth goal in the 71st minute.
Olivia Gotobed, Saint Anselm (So, F - North Andover, Mass.)
Gotobed registered the eventual game-winning goal in the 26th minute, giving the Hawks a 2-1 lead at the time. Gotobed would add her second goal of the match in the 53rd minute, pushing the score to 4-1 early in the second half.
Katie Escobedo, Saint Michael's (Jr., GK - New Rochelle, N.Y.)
Escobedo posted 155 shutout minutes during a 1-0-1 week, making 12 saves. In a 1-0 win over UMaine-Fort Kent, the No. 1 team in USCAA Division I, on Thursday, she made three stops while working a shutout first half to claim the win. In a scoreless draw at Southern Connecticut State on Saturday, Escobedo made nine saves, including four during the overtime sessions.
Mia Klammer, Saint Rose (Fr., F - Mahopac, N.Y.)
Klammer scored both goals in Tuesday's 2-0 win versus AIC.
Ai Inoue, Southern N.H. (Gr., B - Tokyo, Japan)
Inoue anchored a defensive unit that allowed just two shots on goal in Friday's 2-0 win at Assumption.
Hannah Rose, Southern N.H. (Sr., GK - Waterloo, Ontario)
Rose stopped both the shots she faced in Friday's 2-0 victory at Assumption.
