26 NE10 Fall Student-Athletes Honored by CoSIDA.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Despite no formal season of competition for fall sports in the Northeast-10 Conference in 2020, it didn't stop its outstanding student-athletes from earning CoSIDA Academic All-District status for their performance in the classroom – as 26 NE10 players from football, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball have been honored.
The 2020-21 Academic All-District Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Due to the large discrepancy of contests played in 2020-21 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Academic All-District Teams were based on career statistics.
First Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot, while first, second and third All-America honorees are scheduled to be announced in early July.
The Academic All-District Teams are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
Stonehill led all NE10 programs with eight fall student-athletes named CoSIDA Academic All-District – including three in women's soccer. Saint Rose finished with seven honorees, with a league-best four in men's soccer, and Bentley recorded six, including a league-high three for football.
