SCSU Selected to Repeat in 2022.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – The five-time defending Northeast-10 Champions, Southern Connecticut, have been selected to go for a six-peat as they finished first in the 2022 NE10 Men's Indoor Track & Field Coaches' Poll, announced by the league on Thursday afternoon.
Southern Connecticut received eight of the nine first place votes for 64 points total. New Haven received the ninth first place vote and 53 points to place second in the poll. Franklin Pierce finished in third with 50 points to round out the top three teams.
American International landed in fourth with 46 points, followed by Adelphi with 33, Assumption with 32 and Le Moyne with 16. Bentley and Saint Rose tied for eighth with 15 points apiece.
The 2022 NE10 Indoor Track & Field Championship will take place on February 16-17. Stay tuned to northeast10.org for the full details regarding the Championship in February.
