NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Ashley Corcoran, Southern N.H.
Graduate Student | East Longmeadow, Mass.

Ashley Corcoran ran the fastest 1500 in the D2 East Region by almost six seconds on Saturday at the George Davis Invitational at UMass Lowell. Her new program record time of 4:33.90 was good enough for a fifth-place finish in a race filled with D1 athletes.

NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Raven-Symone Jarrett, AIC
Junior | New Britian, Conn.

Jarrett asserted her dominance at the Jay Carisella Invitational with a 1.70-meter leap in the high jump, which currently ranks 11th nationally and is a new NE10 and East Region-best for the season.

NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Anna-Sashia Jones, Southern Conn. St.
Freshman | Hartford, Conn.

At the Mark Young Invitational, Anna-Sashia Jones finished 9th in the 100 Meters with a time of 12.61 and was also part of the 4x100 Relay that won with a time of 46.56.

NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Lilly Capria, Le Moyne
Freshman | North Syracuse, N.Y.

Capria won two events and placed second in another to lead the Dolphins at the Cortland Classic on Friday and Saturday. She won the triple jump with a wind-aided mark of 37-feet, 1.75-inches (11.32m), while she broke the program record with a wind-legal mark of 36-feet, 5.75 inches, 5.5 inches further than the previous record. She also won the high jump with a height of 5-feet, 2.5-inches (1.59m) and placed second in the long jump with a distance of 17-feet, 11.75-inches (5.48m), breaking the previous program record by 14 inches.

NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x800 Relay, Le Moyne

A quartet of redshirt freshman Alexandra Jacob, sophomore Sophia Bisognano, sophomore Anita Jepchirchir and sophomore Hilda Kiprono placed second in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 11:00.94 at the Cortland Classic. The time is the second-best in the NE10 this season.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Isabel Marsh, Adelphi (Sr. - East Meadow, N.Y.)
Isabel Marsh was responsible for the top 800m time in the NE10 this weekend at 2:10.73, running her second best time ever in the event at the Virginia Challenge. She placed 13th in the field as part of the open section.

Kyria Moore, Adelphi (Gr. - Amityville, N.Y.)
Kyria Moore threw the top hammer throw of the weekend of all NE10 athletes who competed at the Rider Invite. She launched a throw 56.07 meters to place third overall.

Lucy Ambroult, Bentley (Jr. - Holbrook, Mass.)
For the fourth time in her career, Ambroult broke the school record in the 100 meters as she ran an 12.50 at the George Davis Invitational at UMass-Lowell. That bettered the mark she set out in San Diego earlier in the month by .09 seconds. Ambroult placed fourth behind three Division I competitors and moved to seventh on the NE10 performance list. In addition, she was third of 28 in the long jump (5.47m/17'11.5").

Wenka Vil, New Haven (Sr. - Pearl River, N.Y.)
Vil won the pole vault at the Jay Carisella Coaches Invitational with a height a clearance of 2.60M.

Rachel Fleischer, Southern Conn. St. (Sr. - Derby, Conn.)
Rachel Fleischer posted a NCAA Division II provisional marks in the Long Jump and also competed in the Triple Jump at the UConn Northeast Challenge. Competing again an all-Division I field, Fleischer finished second in the Triple Jump with a mark of 12.35m and 15th in the Long Jump with a mark of 5.54m.

Kisha Francois, Southern Conn. St. (So. - New Haven, Conn.)
At the Mark Young Invitational, Kisha Francois won the Long Jump with a mark of 5.85 Meters and was also part of the Owls' 4x100 Meter Relay team that won with a time of 46.56.

Tori Limone, Southern N.H. (Jr. - Stoneham, Mass.)
Tori Limone had a 38.05m javelin toss at the George Davis Invitational at UMass Lowell. That was good for a fourth-place finish and is the best throw by an NE10 athlete this season.
