Adelphi Leads NE10 with Three USTFCCCA All-Americans.
MANSFIELD, Mass. - Adelphi's Kyria Moore boasted the highest finish of any Northeast-10 student-athlete with her second place mark in the women's weight throw, and was one of five USTFCCCA All-American at the 2023 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Moore tossed the weight 20.08m on her second of six throws to finish second in the event and earn First Team All-America honors. She is joined by fellow Panthers Isabel Marsh as a First Team selection who finished seventh in the 800M with a time of 2:11.3, and Katherine Marsh as a Second Teamer in the 800M with a 2:11.78 finish in the preliminary round.
American International sophomore Raven-Symone Jarrett earned a pair of First Team honors, the most in the NE10 this season. She finished sixth in the high jump with a 1.72m clearance, and eighth in the pentathlon with 3815 points.
On the men's side, Cameron Belton of Southern Connecticut earned Second Team accolades after tossing the shot put 17.05m to end the meet in 12th place. Belton was the only male athlete to represent the NE10 at this year's indoor championship.
