NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Christopher Holt, Adelphi
Junior | Hempstead, N.Y. 

Christopher Holt put up a 10.59 finish in the 100-meter dash, for fourth in the field, just .07 off an NCAA Division II Provisional mark in the specialty at the Colonial Relays in Virginia. He also managed to place fifth against competition in the 200 meter dash, clocking in at 21.53. Both times rank first in the NE10 through the weekend.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Jordan Davis, Southern Conn. St. 
Junior | Wallingford, Conn.

Jordan Davis won the Javelin event at the UConn Dog Fight against a 19-person event, with competition from Yale, Dartmouth, Cornell, BU and Northeastern. The 2022 NCAA Division II National Champion had a mark of 64.92m, finishing 7.42m past the next closest athlete from UConn.


NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week

Lalo Lopez, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Naugatuck, Conn. 

At this past week's SNHU Twilight Invitational, Lopez began by claiming the win in the Men's 200-Meter Dash with a finishing time of 22.60, and then finished with a third-overall finish in the Men's 100-Meter Dash with a time of 11.19.


NE10 Men's Field Rookie of the Week

Yoofi Abaka-Amuah, Assumption
Freshman | Worcester, Mass.

Abaka-Amuah had three top-ten finishes at the Yellowjacket Invitational on Saturday. He took second in the shot put (15.60m | 51' 2.25"), fifth in the hammer (44.20m | 145' 0"), and seventh in the discus (41.81m | 137' 2").


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

4x100 Relay, Southern Conn. St.

At the UConn Dog Fight, against all NCAA Division I competition, the 4x100 Relay team of Christ N'Dabian, Divine Edwards, Nolan Freeman and Tariq Phillips finished fourth at 42.54.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Matthew Wenz, Adelphi (So. - Rego Park, N.Y.)
Matthew Wenz placed second in the high jump this weekend at the William and Mary Colonial Relays, clearing 1.89 meters on his second attempt - this moves him to #1 among NE10 competition. He also placed third and ninth in the javelin and discus, respectively.

Worlf Malivert, AIC (Jr. - Somerville, Mass.)
Malivert won the triple jump at the AIC Invitational, leading the field and the NE10 with a 14.47-meter result.

Hilton Smith, AIC (Jr. - Clayton, N.J.)
Smith was a force in the hurdles at the Yellow Jacket Invitational. He won both the 110-meter and 400-meter hurdle events to lead AIC's team and added a fourth-place long jump finish to score 25 points on the day.

Tre'Sean Bouie, Assumption (Sr. - Philadelphia, Pa.)
Smith was a force in the hurdles at the Yellow Jacket Invitational. He won both the 110-meter and 400-meter hurdle events to lead AIC's team and added a fourth-place long jump finish to score 25 points on the day.

Alex Lawes, Bentley (So. - Brick, N.J.)
During the SNHU Twilight Invitational, Lawes placed first in the 400 meters by 1.21 seconds with a time of 56.96 seconds. That was good for fifth on the season's Northeast-10 performance list.

Brogan Bonsaint, Franklin Pierce (Jr. - Somersworth, N.H.)
With the outdoor season officially getting underway for the Ravens at the SNHU Twilight Invitational, Bonsaint picked up right where he left off with a top-finish in the Men's Javelin Throw, tossing a mark of 56.09 meters. As the current program record holder for the event (59.60m), Bonsaint's mark was ranked the third-best in program history.

Jordan Emile, New Haven (So. - Stoughton, Mass.)
In his lone event this past weekend, Emile took home first place honors in the 110-meter hurdles at the Ramapo College Invitational, pacing a field of seven with his time of 15.28.

Divine Edwards, Southern Conn. St. (Fr. - Hartford, Conn.)
Divine Edwards competed in three events for the Owls at the all NCAA Division I UConn Dog Fight. Edwards posted a time of 51.20 in the 400 Meter Dash, and was part of the 4x100 Relay that posted a time of 42.54 and the 4x400 team that finished in 3:24.70.
