NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Jordany Dely, New Haven
Junior | Spring Valley, N.Y. 

Competing in a pair of events on the track at this past weekends TCNJ Invitational, Dely finished top-3 in both, including setting a new personal best and an NCAA provisional mark in the 110 hurdles. In that event, he bested his preliminary time by one-tenth of a second to finish the finals in second place overall with a new top-time of 14.33. He followed that up with a third place finish in the 400-hurdles with a time of 56.51.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Connor Everidge, Franklin Pierce
Senior | Baldwinsville, Mass.

Everidge picked it right back up in the Men's Hammer Throw at the Fitchburg State - Jim Sheehan Memorial Track Meet on Saturday, setting a new program record for the event with a mark of 50.31 meters, passing a previous-best set during the 2017 spring season. Everidge also claimed 1st place in the event.


NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week

Nolan Freeman, Southern Conn. St.
Freshman | New Milford, Conn.

At the TCNJ Invitaitonal, Nolan Freeman finished fourth, behind three other Owls runners, in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 50.05. He was also part of the 4x400 Relay team that won with a time of 3:17.66 and the 4x100 team that was second at 42.70. Freeman also finished second in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 22.18.


NE10 Men's Field Rookie of the Week

J'Quan Athis, New Haven
Sophomore | New Haven, Conn.

Competing in three events at this past weekend's TCNJ Invitational, Athis posted a pair of top-8 finishes. His best performance of the weekend came in the shot put where he finished among the field with a distance of 13.80 meters. He followed that up with a new personal best throw in the discus, hitting a distance of 40.39 meters for sixth place overall. He also competed in the hammer throw, finishing that event 10th overall.


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

4x400 Relay, Southern Conn. St.

At the TCNJ Invitational, the Owls 4x400 Meter relay team of Christ N'Dabian, Nolan Freeman, Ramsley Exantus, and Elijah Henry took first place with a time of 3:17.66.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Khalil Chester, Adelphi (Jr. - Amityville, N.Y.)
Khalil Chester won the long jump event at the College of New Jersey Invite this weekend, with a mark of 6.71m. This stands as the second best distance in the NE10 and the top mark of the weekend.

Brice Tolan, Bentley (Sr. - Abington, Mass.)
Tolan moved to number two on the Northeast-10 performance list in the 1500 with his time of 3:56.99 during the UCSD Triton Invitational good for 12th of 61 in the race. He also ran the 800, finishing in 2:04.81.

Matthew Waruch, Saint Rose (So. - Stoughton, Mass.)
Waruch earned second and third place finishes for the Golden Knights at the Utica Pioneer Spring Invitational on Saturday. Waruch was edged by 0.77 seconds in his runner-up effort in the 800-meter (1:59.53), in addition to a podium result in the 1500m with a time of 4:08.86.

Oliver Hayes, Southern Conn. St. (Sr. - Ridgefield, Conn.)
At the TCNJ Invitational, Senior Oliver Hayes finished first in the Pole Vault with a mark of 4.45m.

Elijah Henry, Southern Conn. St. (Jr. - Stratford, Conn.)
At the TCNJ Invitational, Eli Henry won the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 47.82. He was also part of the 4x400 Relay team that won with a time of 3:17.66.
