NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Christopher Holt, Adelphi
Junior | Hempstead, N.Y. 

Christopher Holt ran the best time in the NE10 this season in the 200, clocking in at 21.06 at the Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell. A new personal best, this time also stands as an NCAA Division II Provisional mark which ranks him 17th among D2 competition thus far this spring.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Jordan Davis, Southern Conn. St.
Junior | Wallingford, Conn.

Jordan Davis finished ninth in the javelin event at the 63rd Annual Mt. SAC Relays, competing against NCAA Division I Power 5 schools. Davis posted a provisional mark of 71.15m, which is his second best of the season and the 5th best in the country, to date. Davis defeated athletes from Texas A&M, Duke, Washington, Arizona, Grand Canyon and Iowa State at the Elite Invitational event.


NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week

Sean Barkasy, Southern Conn. St.
Freshman | Manchester, Conn.

Freshman Sean Barkasy won the 3,000 Meters Steeplechase at the UConn Northeast Challenge with a time of 9:27.35.


NE10 Men's Field Rookie of the Week

Benjamin Gilbert, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Windsor, Vt.

Freshman Ben Gilbert had a strong stand-out performance at this past weekend's SNHU Penmen Relays, where he shattered a program record in the Men's Discus, hitting a mark of 43.04 meters to claim 1st-overall in the event.


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

4x400 Relay, Southern Conn. St.

At the all-Division I UConn Northeast Challenge, the 4x400 Realy team of Christ N'Dabian, Ramsley Exantus, Nolan Freeman and Eli Henry finished first with a provisional qualifying time of 3:11.25. The time stands as the 10th best in the country, to date.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Matthew Wenz, Adelphi (So. - Rego Park, N.Y.)
Matthew Wenz put up a score of 6,189 in the decathlon at the UCONN Northeast Challenge this weekend to place seventh overall with new personal bests in the high jump (1.93m), discus (41.04m), and the 1500 (5:22.33). His point total is best in the NE10 after the weekend and is a new Adelphi school record.

Worlf Malivert, AIC (Jr. - Somerville, Mass.)
Malivert scored at the UConn Northeast Challenge and extended his NE10 lead in the triple jump with a 14.48-meter leap.

Claudio Rocha, Assumption (Jr. - Peabody, Mass.)
Rocha set a new personal best in the men's 5000m, as he finished with a 14:51.57 at the Silfen Invitational. He cut off nearly six seconds from his first place finish at the NE10 Indoor Championships.

Max Paolino, Assumption (Sr. - Smithfield, R.I.)
Paolino recorded his fourth-straight top-ten finish in the shotput as he won the event at the Penmen Relays with his throw of 14.38m (47' 2.25"). He also finished second in the hammer throws (42.63m | 139' 10")

Wondu Summa, Franklin Pierce (Jr. - Burlington, Vt.)
Junior Wondu Summa finished 17th-overall in the Men's 10,000-Meter Run at this past weekend's Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, completing the race with a time of 30:19.45. The performance set both a new program record in the respective event, and was good for NCAA Championship qualifying standards

Reese Casinelli, Saint Rose (So. - Lockport, N.Y.)
Casinelli took the victory in the men's 400-meter and was the top collegiate finisher in the 200-meter dash in Friday night's Under the Lights Invite at RPI. Casinelli crossed the line in the 48.77 seconds in his 400m win, a mark that lists third-best all time in Saint Rose history. Casinelli's 200m time of 21.94 seconds also ranks third fastest in the program record books, and both performances respectively stand fourth on the Northeast-10 Conference outdoor leader board this season.

Ramsley Exantus, Southern Conn. St. (Sr. - Stratford, Conn.)
At the UConn Northeast Challenge, Ramsley Exantus finished 4th in the 400 Meter Hurdles with a NCAA DIvision II provisional time of 52.63 and was also part of the 4x100 Relay team that finished 1st with a time of 3:11.25, which stands as the 10th best in the country to date.
