NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Merciyline Kimaiyo, American International
Freshman | Eldoret, Kenya
Kimaiyo wasted no time in proving she is as adept on a track as she is on the cross country course. In the 3K at BU's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, she ran the nation's sixth-fastest time, 9:56.60, which is the fastest for any freshman in the country.

Theresa Irving, Southern New Hampshire
Sophomore | Penacook, N.H.
Theresa Irving finished second in the high jump on Sunday, helping the Penmen to a second-place finish at the season-opening Art Kadish Elm City Challenge. Her jump of 1.60m was a new indoor program record for SNHU.

NE10 Women's Relay of the Week
4x400 Relay, Adelphi
The quartet of Gabrielle Buissereth, Claire O'Regan, Gabrielle Griffin and Fiona Maloney saw a time of 4:02.27 in the 4x400 to place third overall, an event they look to defend at this year's indoor Northeast-10 Conference championship in February.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Gabrielle Buissereth, Adelphi (Sr. - Elmont, N.Y.)
Gabrielle Buissereth posted a new career-best in the 800m, finishing second this weekend at the Fastrack Season Opener in a time of 2:23.06. She was just under one second from the top finisher from Rider University. Additionally, Buissereth helped the 4x400 relay to a third place showing, in which she ran a 56.7 split for her leg of the race.
Bethaney Donnelly, Franklin Pierce (Gr. - Manchester, United Kingdom)
Won the 3000 meters on Sunday at SCSU, with a time of 10:24, which established a new program record in the event.
Natalie Lavello, Le Moyne College (Fr. - Poughkeepsie, N.Y.)
She won the 60-meter dash at the Saints Holiday Relays in 8.29 seconds. She also was part of two second-place relays.
Savannah Sistrunk, New Haven (Fr. - Georgetown, Del.)
After finishing fourth in the preliminaries, Sistrunk sped her way to medalist honors in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.29, more than a tenth of a second faster than her preliminary time and beating out the field by just two one-hundredths of a second for the victory. Sistrunk was also a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished second overall in the event, as she was the third leg of the four-member team that finished in a time of 4:16.75.
Kristen Washington, New Haven (Sr. - New Haven, Conn.)
Washington opened up her senior indoor season with her first medal performance of the year, earning top honors in the long jump with a distance of 5.53 meters at the season-opening Art Kadish Elm City Challenge hosted by Southern Connecticut. Her medal leap, which came on her second attempt in the event, outpaced the next finished by five one-hundredths of a meter. Washington also posted a third place finish in the triple jump where she hit a distance of 10.69-meters.
Rachel Fleischer, Southern Connecticut (Sr. - Derby, Conn. )
Fleischer came in first place in the triple jump with a leap of 11.06 meters, and came in third place in the long jump with a leap of 5.09 meters.
Ella Maclean, Southern Connecticut (Fr. - Hanover, N.H.)
Maclean had a historic collegiate debut for the Owls, as she set the SCSU program record in the 300-meter dash with a time of 41.63 at the Sharon-Colyear Danville Season Opener. Maclean finished in ninth place overall, and had the second best finish among all freshmen runners. In the 60-meter dash, Maclean finished in fourth place with a time of 7.79, which was tied for the seventh best time in program history.
Meghan Stroh, SNHU (Sr. - New Fairfield, Conn.)
Meghan Stroh opened the season Sunday at the Art Kadish Elm City Challenge with a pair of program record runs. Her 7.44 for the 55m dash came in the prelims. Stroh then finished second in the 400m at 58.59, a new program mark.
