Yellow Jackets Picked to Repeat
MANSFIELD, Mass. – American International was picked first to win its second Northeast-10 Outdoor Track & Field Title, taking first in the NE10 Women's Outdoor Track & Field Coaches Poll, released on Wednesday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets earned 92 total points and five first place votes while Southern New Hampshire also totaled five first place votes and had 89 points. The Penmen earned their first runner-up finish during the Indoor Track & Field Championships, as AIC claimed first in that event.
Stonehill took third in the poll with 74 points, while Southern Connecticut was fourth with 68. Adelphi placed fifth with 62 points while Franklin Pierce rounded out the top six teams with 60 points and the final first place vote.
The 2022 NE10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship will take place May 6-7 on the campus of Stonehill College. The Championship page with live results, live video and heat sheets can be found HERE.
