NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Clement Paillon, American International
Junior | Brussieu, France

Paillon excelled in the 800-meter run twice at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational, both as part of a relay and individually. On Friday, he ran 1:48 flat in the third leg of AIC's distance medley relay that shattered the NCAA Division II record, and followed that with another 1:48 time Sunday in the 800-meter run to set a new NCAA DII standard for the 2022 season.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Worlf Malivert, American International
R-Freshman | Somerville, Mass

Malivert put in a strong showing in the triple jump for the Yellow Jackets at the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Sunday. His leap of 14.33 meters was the tops in the NE10 on the weekend and sits him third in the conference on the campaign.  


NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week

Marvin Dure, American International
Freshman | Brockton, Mass.

Dure was part of AIC's distance medley relay unit that broke the NCAA Division II record in the event at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational, running the 400-meter leg in 47.47 seconds on Friday. He followed that by topping his own conference-best in the 200-meter dash on Sunday, raising the NE10's fastest time to 21.86 seconds.


NE10 Men's Field Rookie of the Week

R-Freshman | Somerville, Mass

NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

Distance Medley Relay, American International

The AIC distance medley relay team of Gavin Smith, Marvin Dure, Clement Paillon, and Callum Elson reached a new top speed at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational on Friday, shattering the NCAA Division II record with a time of 9:36.62, nearly four seconds faster than the previous mark. Incredibly, in addition to breaking the record as a unit, the four each ran in other events and posted either top times for the NE10 for the season or NCAA qualifying times in those events as well.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

George Dixon IV, Assumption (Jr. - East Bridgewater, Mass.)
Dixon set an Assumption record in the 400 meters over the weekend at at the John Thomas Terrier Classic. He finished with a time of 49.26, which is also the third-best time in the NE10 this year.

Stephen Harris, Franklin Pierce (So. - Billerica, Mass.)
Posted a time of 21.53 seconds to finish third at BU's John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday, meeting the NCAA Championships provisional qualifying standard in the process. The time ranks 17th in the nation and leads the NE10, and demolished the program record in the event, to boot. Also added a seventh-place finish in the 60-meter dash invitational at BU, with a run of seven seconds flat, which is tied for eighth in the NE10 and also set a new school record.

Dominic Abbott, Le Moyne (Fr. - Fulton, N.Y.)
He recorded a pair of top-four individuals finishes and teamed on a third-place relay on Saturday at Utica's Blue & Orange Invitational. He registered a time of 51.72 seconds in the 400-meter dash to place second. The time is the fourth-fastest in the program's history and Abbott is just the second Dolphin to go under 52 seconds. He finished in fourth place in the 200-meter dash in 23.24 seconds, the third-fastest time in the program's history.

4x400 Relay, Southern Connecticut
At the John Thomas Terrier Classic, the 4x400-meter relay team of Exantus, Spisek, N'Dabian, and Green finished in first place with a time of 3:13.28, nearly five seconds faster than second place finisher Rider. It's the third fastest 4x400-meter relay time in Division II this season, and placed the Owls in the top 25 across all collegiate levels.

Nigel Green, Southern Connecticut (Sr. - Shirley, N.Y.)
Green finished in third place out of 76 competitors in the 400-meter run at the John Thomas Terrier Classic with a time of 47.49, the third fastest time in Division II this season, second fastest 400-meter indoor time in program history, and fastest 400-meter run time in the NE10 this season. Green also anchored Southern's 4x400-meter relay team that finished in first place with a time of 3:13.28, nearly five seconds faster than second place finisher Rider. It's the fastest 4x400-meter relay time in Division II this season, and placed the Owls in the top 25 across all collegiate levels.
