NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Worlf Malivert, American International
Freshman | Somerville, Mass.

Malivert posted great results at the West Point Open. He took 2nd in the 60-meter dash in 6.93 seconds and won the triple jump with a 14.11 meter leap. Both were the best results of any NE10 athlete in the events over the weekend at any meet.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Yvan Lopes Ribeiro, American International
Freshman | Springfield, Mass.

Lopes Ribeiro turned in a dominating day for AIC at the West Point Open. He ran a blistering 8.01 in the 60-meter hurdles, the second-fastest time nationally for the 2021-22 season, and he also posted a 7.16-meter long jump, good for 17th nationally. Both marks are tops in the NE10.

NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

American International 4x400 Relay

The Yellowjacket quartet of Bailey Murphy, Marvin Dure, Silas Choge and Hilton Smith took second at the West Point Open with a flat track time of 3:26:56. They were less than one second behind Army and the time is the third best in the NE10 this year.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Connor Everidge, Franklin Pierce (Jr. - Baldwinville, Mass.)
Posted a pair of school records on Saturday at MIT, as he won both the shot put (15.23m) and the weight throw (16.39m). Both met the NEICAAA Championships qualifying standards. The weight throw mark now leads the NE10, while the shot put distance is third.

Wondu Summa, Franklin Pierce (So. - Burlington, Vt.)
Won the 1000 meters on Saturday at MIT, with a time of 2:33. Also anchored a 4x400-meter squad, which finished second in 3:29.

Kenny Barrett, Le Moyne (Sr. - Lagrangeville, N.Y.)
He won the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:43.14 at Cornell's Southern Tier Invite on Saturday. He also anchored the second-place 4x400-meter relay team, which finished in 3:43.02.

Shea Drugan, Stonehill (Fr. - Westfield, Mass.)
Shea Drugan had another stellar meet for Stonehill as the freshman set a new career-best in the 200 meters race. Drugan posted a time of 23.01 seconds for an eighth-place finish topping his previous best of 23.62.

Jacob Pacheco, Stonehill (So. - Merrimack, N.H.)
Finished fourth in both the high jump and pole vault. Pacheco set two new personal bests in both events. First, in the high jump, Pacheco recorded a jump of an impressive 1.92 meters. Next, in the pole vault, he topped his previous season-high of 4.10 meters with a new personal best of 4.22 meters to secure the fourth-place finish.
