National Champions Callum Elson and Jordan Davis Highlight List of Winners.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference swept all awards in the East Region, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in the first week of June. Highlighting the list was a pair of NCAA champions – American International's Callum Elson and Southern Connecticut's Jordan Davis.

Southern Connecticut led all NE10 institutions with four honorees, while AIC and Southern New Hampshire each had a pair of athletes and/or coaches recognized. Back in May, it was the Southern Connecticut men and Southern New Hampshire women who took home NE10 Outdoor Track & Field titles.

For a full list of honorees, please see below.

Elson was named the East Region Men's Track Athlete of the Year for the second time this year, following his first honor after the indoor track & field season. He won the 1500m at the NCAA Championships in a time of 3:46.35. Earlier in the spring, he won the Olympic Development Mile at the Penn Relays and won NE10 gold in the 800m and 5000m.

SNHU's Ashley Corcoran was selected the East Region Women's Track Athlete of the Year after leading the Penmen to their first NE10 Outdoor title in program history. She was named the Female Track Athlete of the Meet at the NE10 Championship behind two individual titles (1500m, steeplechase) and a runner-up finish in the 5000m.

Davis, the East Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year, won an NCAA title in javelin with a personal-best throw of 72.54m. He became the first SCSU student-athlete to win a national title at the NCAA Outdoor Championship since Kateema Riettie in 2002. Earlier in the season, Davis also broke the meet record in javelin at the NE10 Outdoor Championship.

AIC's Adia Cavalier was tabbed the East Region Women's Field Athlete of the Year after earning First Team All-America status in the triple jump at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. She went undefeated in the triple jump against NCAA DII competition this season and won gold at the NE10 Championship and the NEICAAA Championships.

SCSU's John Wallin, in his 13th season with the Owls, led the program to an NE10 Outdoor title for the fifth-straight season – on his way to being named East Region Men's Coach of the Year. The Owls also won the New England Championships by winning nine events and setting meet records in three. His assistant Brian Nill also earned East Region Men's Assistant Coach of the Year.

SNHU's Lex Butler was chosen as the East Region Women's Coach of the Year after leading the Penmen to their first NE10 Outdoor title in program history by scoring in 19 of 22 events. SNHU also had an NEICAAA individual champion and a 10th-place finisher in the steeplechase at the NCAA Championships in Ashley Corcoran.

SCSU's Adriana Carrasco – in her first year with the program – won East Region Women's Assistant Coach of the Year after leading Owls' sprinters to score 57 of the team's 120 points at the NE10 Championship and 19 more points at the New England Championships.
